Jesse painted the exterior of our home in August. It is now November that I am writing a review. I purposely waited a couple of months allowing time to see if any problems show up. I am very happy to say that everything they did was done professionally and beyond my expectations. The paint he used is the highest quality. The prep was done meticulously (no bubbling or chipping). There are no oversprays or sloppy trim edges. Everything is just as Jesse said it would be, which I have not found to be the standard for the many contractors I have hired in the past. We recently hired Jesse at Capitol Painting Co. and we couldnt be happier with our experience. I interviewed five different painters who all had good reviews online. What really sets Jesse apart from the rest is his absolute genuine desire to serve the customer. One thing I really appreciated was the excellent communication. From the initial phone call inquiring about his services to the follow through after the project was completed, his communication was great. The initial walkthrough of our project took about an hour and was far more thorough than any of the other painters I met with. He asked question, provided thoughtful insights and made sure we understood the process and the materials to be used on our project. He was on the higher end of the scale when it came to cost but after interviewing several painters I felt the most comfortable with Jesse. We painted our house years ago and wanted to maintain our more intricate paint scheme with french wrapped trim and multiple color schemes. Some of the other painters tried to talk us out of doing it because it was quite involved. Jesse never tried to conform us to what he wanted to do. He wanted to ensure we received what we desired. His team was great and what we really liked was the positive attitude he and his crew had on our job site. We often heard laughter and singing. It was quite refreshing to observe that. The quality of the work was great. In our final walkthrough we noticed a couple of spots that needed some minor touch ups and he was very eager to address those areas for us. We love how the project turned out and we have already recommended Jesse to some of our neighbors. We would highly recommend Jesse and his team. Give them a call, you will be glad that you did!

Communication was great with Jesse setting up a group text for the project so we were all on the same page. Definitely take advantage of Jesse's color consult - he picked the perfect accent color when I just couldn't decide. Jesse has an eye for any potential issues that may come up during the project and lays out a clear plan. His crew of Chris and Hunter and everyone else were so kind and respectful, and very considerate of my working from home and dealing with two large dogs who were not happy with strangers on the property. We had a big painting project that was beyond our ability. Capitol Painting was the answer for us. We had them paint the outside of our house three years ago and have been very happy with the results. So they were our first call this time around. The project included two floors and hallways and a two story ceiling. The existing paint was 10 year old contractor light coatings and the walls and especially the ceiling needed multiple coats to cover and look right. Jesse and his very able team were up to the task. The owner Jesse is as focused on customer satisfaction as is humanly possible, no exaggeration. Jesse came out to my home and covered every base imaginable when I requested a quote, far exceeding what I experienced with another very well-known painting contractor in my area, for example. My project included not only prep and painting, but siding repair as well. Other contractors were insisting that I had to replace much of my siding, yet the other contractors were wrong. Moreover, the job was completed at a very fair price. Capital Painting completed the project, and as far as it looks to me, just got another 20 years or so of life out of my siding and paint. Also, the crew, Joshua and Hunter dealt with my dozen on-site questions and concerns as helpfully as Jesse did. I detailed so much to them that it might have annoyed some contractors, and they were always friendly and happy to clarify every single concern I had. So, if you don't at least obtain a quote from Capitol Painting, you are doing yourself a disservice.
