Do not use these people do not That's all I could say they're the worst dirty workers horrible insulation The owner won't even come to your house to even inspect what his worker did I had a horrible bathroom shower insert done by a Total unprofessional guy who might come to your house to give you an appraisal is not the person remember is not the person coming to fix whatever you need fixed whomever they find for the cheapest rate to hire to come do your job is who's coming to your house. If you ever see the owner it's slim to none he doesn't have a big enough pair to come go over what his worker did or destroyed in your house for the last time do not use these people

After reaching out to numerous contractors for over 6 months, The Honey Do Service was the only contractor who even entertained the idea of tackling our project which consisted of making our entire basement a wonderful, liveable space, and remodeling our entire first floor, from removing walls, installing walls, new drywall, repairing existing drywall, trim work, bracing in the attic, installing flooring, painting walls and ceilings, new plumbing, new lighting, building two tile showers, installing new doors, making old doors fit new spaces, installing new appliances, insulation, installing new bathroom vanities....The Honey Do Service, namely James Peters (who had wonderful, awesome suggestions/ideas/remedies for our projects) and Justin (who proved his new drywall skills), tackled the 6 month project and completed it to my great satisfaction. With my vision, they took a small, dated 1960's brick ranch, and made it modern and feel larger andbeautiful. They showed up most every day Monday through Friday (with the exception of sickness and bad weather) and were friendly, trustworthy, and dedicated to making our home project dreams a reality. We have noticed a few issues since completion of our project in March 2024, and they have honored their one year satisfaction guarantee/warranty without hesitation. Although pricey labor, and the added aggravation of me having to purchase and supply all materials making the process very stressful, the end result was so worth it! Thanks James and Justin! And thanks to Laken for all the communication, she was so pleasant and helpful. We appreciate you all very much!

HDSI was great! We received several bids on a back porch from different companies. HDSI was the first bid that to come in. After listening to countless bids, ( some close to $30,000 ), we went with HDSI. When the crew showed up they all were very work minded, they even worked all day in the rain. Honey Do got back to me, which is more than I can say about most of the other services I contacted, and did so quickly. They were professional. I spoke with Laken on Monday, they showed up to look at everything Tuesday morning and I was called with an estimate within a couple of hours. I know they're busy, but they managed to fit me in right away. Justin arrived promptly the next morning and took care of everything I needed quickly and professionally. This was such a great change from all those vendors who never returned my messages, strung me along, or quoted ridiculous fees. I was pretty much at wit's end when I spoke with them, and I'm glad I called. I'm very happy with the work, and I will definitely call again when I need more work done.

Estimate was $3280 to remove bathtub and install walk-in tub. Final cost $5268. $2032 over. Got $200 refund. Was told extra cost was to hire an electrician. Electrician was here for 2-3 hours and he didn't even run any wire. Crew worked hard but failed to read the instructions on installing the walk-in tub. Normally you get an estimate for a job before the work is done. The second and third so called estimates were given to me while the work was being done, to me that is a bill. I was afraid if I didn't pay they wouldn't finish the job.

I was referred to them by another company that is still coming out to give us an estimate but also do not offer ALL of the services we need (siding, roofing, and interior repair all from storm damage) Their website says GET YOUR FREE ESTIMATE TODAY but you call and they want to charge $50... which would be fine if they could get to us when we need them to (which is a huge factor in why we wont be using them aside from the 1 star reviews they have) but in all honestly which is it? Free or for a fee?

We recently used Honey Do Services for the first time and were very happy with them, from the booking process, staff friendliness, prompt arrival of the contractor and the overall job itself. We are planning to use the company again and have since scheduled an estimate for another job. The only glitch was an initial miscommunication about cost and how the fees are determined. The recent job we booked was an approximate 30- minute job to repair a loose piece of siding, for which we were charged a minimum fee. We felt that the cost was a bit expensive but we were willing to pay for the convenience. I was under the impression from an initial conversation with a representative that any individual odd job would be charged the minimum fee and could not be combined with other similar jobs. That would have been a tremendous expense and a deal breaker in using the business again. However, after the job was completed and we were satisfied with the work, I called back for future reference and clarification of the fee. The second representative explained that the minimum fee covers up to 2 hours' work and that jobs of similar nature (minor odd jobs for instance) could be combined to meet that minimum requirement. She also explained that while some fees are subject to the minimum fee, other costs are based on the job itself (Ex: minor tasks vs structural/construction). Had this been explained a little better initially, I would have thrown in some other things to better warrant the minimum fee we paid. Overall, however, this didn't negatively affect our experience. Some people never show up or don't produce good work so it's nice to find a company with good customer service and a quick turn around time.

While the work the company did was fine at best, I was deeply displeased with the companys communication and customer service. They told me a date for the work to be done, and that was January 5th. The day before that I had outpatient abdominal surgery. I was up the day after my surgery extra early waiting for them to show up and they never did, which put me in unnecessary pain because they couldnt be bothered to communicate with me. When I finally got hold of them the next day, they told me that they were doing it on a different date. At no point did they ever call or email me to let me know that they changed the date and make sure that that was okay. That alone was highly unprofessional, but it just continued. Part of the project proposal specifically included removing the skate ramp and hauling it away. It was stated clearly and that is what I signed. Instead, the worker tore apart the ramp and left all of it behind in my driveway. I called for weeks trying to get them to come pick it up - I am disabled and I had just had surgery, there was no way for me to do it myself, which is why I made sure that hauling the trash away was included. After we had paid them the remainder due for all of the work, and they still hadnt picked up the trash like they assured me at the time they would, I called them off and on for a few weeks trying to get them to pick it up. I was either sent to voicemails that they never answered, or given a time and day for pickup that never happened. As of right now, about 5 months after the completion of the project, the trash is still in my driveway because I physically cannot move it and they couldnt be bothered to come get it. We paid them over $5,000 total for all of the work only for them to not even finish the job. Essentially stealing from us, since they never completed the work. On top of that, there is a panel of siding that they didnt even put on correctly on the back of my house that I also cannot fix myself. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with their communication and customer service and will not be working with them again.

~9 months ago we used Honey Do. They were great, on-time, and communicated. We called for another quote a few months ago, they came out and all seemed great. Then we never heard back. We reached out to get our quote... silence. Then we called back after waiting for awhile and they said they have to re-do the quote. Fine, whatever... they were good before right? They didn't show on time, didn't call until well after the time. They said they had another appointment (at 8am? sure.). Then they asked if they could do the estimate at the house without anyone there... after I had waiting around for them all morning. I called and cancelled them. Honestly, I'm just sad and disappointed. You can have trouble hiring and things happen. There is NO EXCUSE for poor communication. Those who proactively communicate get the business. Yes this reflects your business. This is what YOU did. Don't bother contacting me, I wont respond. I work with those that want our work. Your clearly automated responses to past reviews again show your values don't exist.

A few months ago I hired Honey Do Service to repair the guttering to the front of my house. I was specifically told that there was no damage to the fascia board prior to the repair to the guttering by a Honey Do employee who completed the estimate. The issue with my gettering was worse after the gentleman completed the job. After a few phone calls (I had difficulty getting responses) a gentleman stating he is the foreman came and took a look stating the fascia board was rotted in one area and basically that we will need to pay to fix it. I initially asked for him to have someone come by to give an estimate as he wouldn't give one. I have yet to hear back and frankly I feel cheated since I already paid for a service which did nothing but cause more issues and I am expected to pay again to try to remedy the issue once more. Bad customer service experience. I am very surprised that this happened since this company has been around for a while and I have never heard anything bad about them. I will not use them again.

However I initiated contact via their free estimate link on the website at the first of this week, waited a couple days then called around 1pm - no answer, emailed again with different email address in case I was having issues with one, now it's Saturday and still no response.
