The screening on my moms porch was deteriorated. Its a high porch which makes for an expensive repair for sometime a fixed income. The repair tech came up with a creative solution that moved the screen mesh to the interior. He trimmed it out really nicely making it not only a practical solution but attractive. Well Done!

I hired Mr. Handyman to repair a small section of flashing along our roofline. The estimated cost of the repair was $400-$500 plus materials. The total cost for labor ended up coming in at $704 (including the $75 service charge) plus materials and disposal. When asked for a breakdown of the labor costs, Mr. Handyman only stated that four hours, fifteen minutes were spent on the project with no additional information. Very little of that time was spent at our home on the project (I would approximate an hour total) and I find it unsettling that Mr. Handyman can charge me for multiple hours of work that I did not see without a more thorough accounting of how that time was spent. Kynard was kind and did a good job, but due to billing practices and lack of proof of work, I will not be using Mr. Handyman again.

I think these photos speak for themselves. We asked them to put a wall and door back up that had been taken down to the studs for a foundation repair. The trim is already coming off the wall, they used the cheapest materials available (partly because of how they pay their workers), they left paint on our things that we cant get off, there were multiple screws sticking out of the wall. I asked them to fix their mistakes before making payment, so they sent someone out and these are the AFTER photos. I then asked for a discount to account for the damaged items and incomplete work, and Randy refused. He said he wouldnt send someone out again until after payment. How many times do we need people to come out before its fixed? If you want a professional job done right the first time, I would look elsewhere.

Had our kitchen faucet replaced. Shane did a terrific job. Professional, efficient and friendly. We talked with him about installing a door after the first of the year so hell be back for more work. Very pleased with the work and glad we found Mr. Handyman!

Shane did a great job with our basement shoe moulding trim and fixing our sliding barn door. We received a quote quickly, were able to get on the schedule in less than two weeks, and the project was completed in three days. Weve had an excellent experience with Mr. Handyman and will definitely use them again for any future work we need.

I hate to leave a bad review because I had a good experience a year ago with my deck. But I asked for quotes to do the stairs. They quoted 4k which is way higher than what wed researched. I decided we could do the demo if they could lay the floor. I responded to the quote and heard nothing. I called and spoke to someone and was told Id get a call back. I then contacted them on their website. I would respect this place more if the just said they couldnt do the work but to ghost me is ridiculous

I generally do things myself. But when I don't have the time or just don't want to fool with it, I only want someone who can do as good of job as I can or better. I call these guys because I trust they know what they're doing and they pay attention to detail. Heard that term a lot in the army because it's important and becoming very rare these days.

Shane Self came out and did great work on a plethora of issues around my house. I'm trying to get my house ready to put on the market and needed probably a dozen small jobs done and he came out on 2 consecutive days and knocked them all out, and they turned out even better than I had expected.

I scheduled an appointment with them to discuss my project. They were supposed to arrive between 11-12 on the day of the appointment. At 12:15 they had not shown up and had not called. I reached out to them and was told they could now be there between 1:30 and 2:30. I cancelled. If they can't be trusted to at least communicate a scheduling issue so you aren't sitting around the house all day waiting for them, they certainly can[t be trusted to do a good job for you.
