What makes McGrath Floor & Design a phenomenal business, is what they do after the installation is complete. Two months ago we bought 2,488 square feet of 8 planks and Julie, Laura and Rick installed it in 2 days, and did not stop coming over to check on the floor until it was 100% complete with zero issues. Rick is a perfectionist and perfect isnt good enough for him. I highly recommend McGrath for your home remodeling needs. From floor installation to dry wall work to appliance installation-they can do it all. It was so nice to be able to get all of my remodeling needs taken care of with one company. They were always available to answer any questions I had. Rick and Laura were amazing! They gave me recommendations on flooring, kitchen removing colors and more. Laura stayed in constant communication with me and went over and above to make sure I was happy with everything that was being completed. They made this stressful process easier to handle. I am very happy with the results!

We loved the personal and professional experience we had with Laura at McGrath Flooring. She has worked with us on both wood flooring and carpet. When we had an issue with the carpet she jumped in as a true customer advocate and we were able to come to a fair resolution. We recently had new LVP flooring installed upstairs to perfectly match our downstairs, and we couldnt be happier with the results. The installation was completed on time, the pricing was more than fair, and the entire experience was smooth from start to finish. Julie provided outstanding customer serviceknowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. The installation crew led by Leo was top-notch. They paid great attention to detail and left the space just as clean when they finished as when they arrived. Overall, an excellent experience. I highly recommend McGrath Flooring and would absolutely use them again.

From the designer, Julie, to the floor crew led by Leo, everyone wants to know that youre satisfied with the work theyre doing! They are very communicative and desire your feedback at every step of the flooring process. The installation crew was amazing! Theyre perfectionists. They took the time to explain every process they were about to do so I would be able to see what their goal was, which was my satisfaction. They asked if I had questions and were more than happy to answer any and all questions. If I wanted something different than what they explained, we stopped the process to discuss which options were available and what was going to be the best option for my situation. For example, I had a header that separated two rooms. I wanted to keep the headers and run new hardwood to those headers. Leo took the time to explain that lacing the wood into the old would add value to the entire home since it would look like the floors were continuous and all installed at the same time. This was a no additional cost option that I wasnt aware of and gladly took their advice! They were right, it looks amazing and Leo and his crew made sure to get the right coloring and final coating to make the new floors blend into the older floors! Leo and his crew also repaired a large scratch on my older floors with meticulous care. They treated each board individually and precisely, making sure I was completely happy with the outcome! Ill be having them come back again soon to complete more new hardwoods in the raining rooms in my home!

I cant begin to recommend this company and especially our project manager, Julie Jordan, to the extent that they deserve! We were having a horrible time with contractors and mitigation when a friend recommended to reach out to Julie who swooped in like Wonder Woman and saved the day (and the renovation!) With McGrath we were able to afford to lay gorgeous new wide plank flooring in the entire downstairs of our home and they sourced the exact blue cabinets of my dreams! They managed every aspect of the construction and contractors and even got the floors ripped out and installed over a two week vacation we already had planned-it was miracle timing! The owner, Rick, even came out to asses the situation and make sure it was done to his expectations. Julie provided design ideas and cost saving tips. She had excellent communication throughout the process and was very transparent when needed. Call McGrath Brothers and ask for Rick and Julie-youll thank me when you also have gorgeous new floors and a fantastic experience!

Rick and his guys refloored our house for an insurance claim. Rick was extremely helpful in selecting the flooring and very professional in all facets of the install. Julie is phenomenal to work with. She helped me throughout the entire process, and communicated each step to make it easy, and fun. She is prompt, responsive and very knowledgeable about her products. She listened carefully to what I wanted and showed me options that I didnt even know existed! After initial installation, an uneven patch became apparent and it progressed to become a real problem to our brand new planks. A few of them were buckling and splintering over time. Contacted the company who sent installers to redo the patch with our leftover flooring. They were able to smooth out the uneven concrete with some cement leveler and install the leftover planks. Turned out very nicely and there is no longer any unevenness, just flat and smooth floors. Im once again a happy customer as they did the work at no additional cost as it was still under warranty.

08/24/23 - UPDATE to my earlier review below: The summer humidity was starting to warp our hardwood floors - I made a call the Rick McGrath for advice. He personally drove to my home the next morning, inspected the crawl space beneath the house and told me the problem related to our humidification system, He then wrote up a detailed recap, including photos of the problem area, and emailed it to me that night. When the HVAC repairman came the next day he knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. Just one more example of How McGrath Brothers go above and beyond the call of duty before, during, and AFTER the sale. We were recommended to McGrath Bros. by our insurance company last year to replace damaged hardwood floors. They did such a good job that we used them again this year to install hardwood upstairs. Professional, fast service, and great pricing.
