MC was priced in-line with other companies that quoted our new construction home. As a homeowner with no experience in drywall I would rate the Price to Quality of work, C+ At first glance everything looked acceptable, but after moving in and living in the space, we continue to notice more issues. We are seeing random nail pops, even though the quote specified screws. I know screws were used so the nails are a concern. Several outlets were cut sloppily, to the point that standard-sized faceplates do not fully cover the gaps/mistakes. There is a section where the mud/finish quote was not sanded, painting the wall highlights this section. These are details that are hard to notice until the home is finished and occupied, but they do affect the overall quality. Unfortunately, the craftsmanship and attention to detail fell short.

I've been in the remodeling business for 40 yrs. We have our own drywall crew and they do a great job. When a job calls for a large amount of drywall work, the only call I make is to MCD. Joline is a super pro and gets the ball rolling immediatly. The project mgrs. are very professional and the work is wonderful. If you're looking for a top drawer, professional crew, these are the guys.
