We selected Scott from 3 bids to repair minor stucco damage and paint the exterior of our house in Jax Beach. Scott quoted the job and did the job. The other 2 other quotes were from sales representatives who could only say how the job would get done. I got several quotes to complete an interior painting job. I talked with Colin and he came out the same day to also provide a quote. I chose to go with Colin and the Hallett's Painting team based on reviews, communication, and a sense he truly cared about what he was doing AND his customers. I was not disappointed! The paint job turned out great and Colin was more than happy to address any questions I had along the way. During conversation, I found he did so much more than paint. I also had him do some ceiling/drywall repair, grout touch-up, and yard fencing. Prices are excellent, but above all the work ethic, results, and respect for the customer's needs is paramount to him. That commitment is hard to find sometimes so I will definitely be referring him to others that need services done. Well done and thank you to Colin and his team!

After considerable research on companies to refinish/paint my kitchen cabinets, I turned to the BBB for assistance. I wanted to hire a company with an A+ rating. I obtained several estimates ranging from extremely low to ridiculously high. I chose a middle ground company named Hallett's Painting. Colin, owner, returned my call promptly. We set a date for the work to begin. Colin explained the step by step procedure to me and answered any questions I had. Communication throughout the entire process was superb.This company is professional, courteous, punctual, dependable, and actually cares about the customer. Customer service is better than any I have experienced in the past. Colin treated me as if I was his only customer. He went above and beyond all expectations in quality of work, performance, and product deliverance. Colin would not take any payment for the project until I was 100% satisfied. The job turned out beautifully. I totally enjoyed working with this company and highly recommend them for any painting jobs you have. I will definitely hire them again in the near future for additional home improvements I have planned. I am delighted to give this company a 5 star rating. Thank you Colin!!!!! Hallett's Painting/Construction was one of several companies we interviewed for the job of painting the exterior of our house. We selected Halletts because, after talking to Scott (Hallett), we felt he was genuinely concerned about our home and that he would provide the craftsmanship and quality we were looking for. All in all, we are happy we chose Halletts. Scott, Josh and team did a great job of prepping (including pressure washing, caulking, etc..), priming and painting our house. In addition to painting, Scott also did some carpentry work including replacing wood siding, soffit vents and a door. We are very satisfied with Halletts and would hire them again.

I have been wanting to get my house painted for a year and got a few estimates and they were in range. A coworker told me to call Hallett's and it would be worth it. I called him and he was professional and listed to what I was asking, he was more than willing to meet me on my time and that helps out with my busy schedule and that a plus in these days! He came over and looked it over and pointed out a few places of wood rot that the other painters missed and they were in plain sight. He gave me more that plenty of paint sample and said any color under the sun is no problem and even have a few good points about changing colors and suggested a few different color due to the neighbors homes. When it came time to paint he took care in pressure washing and I had him do my driveway while he was doing the house. He let the house day for a few days and showed me some more wood rot and water damage.Scott assured me that he would repair it and it's not as bad as it looks. The care he took in the prep work and placing tarps of my shrubs and asking me the day before to move the cars and offered to move my heavy potted plants next to the front door rather than put plastic on them because it could break them showed he really cares. He painted the house and kept going strong even though it was hot and finished it. He had an issue with his paint sprayer and assured me he would have it completed in time. He returned the next day and finished the trim and made sure I was happy with the results and I was more pleased with the care and professionalism he took while painting my home. He truly takes pride in his work and I will pass out his card and tell anyone that I can about the experience with him and his company.Last but not least it felt good at the end to know that he is local and if I need him for other work he is a phone call away.

Scott Hallett came out to give me an estimate on painting the exterior of my house. I got the dreaded notice from my home owner's association that my house may need to be painted. After looking at my home, Scott determined that a good pressure washing was enough. He was right, the house looked beautiful after he cleaned it up and he advised that I had a few more years before I needed it painted. I really appreciated his professionalism and know who I will call when I do need the work done.
