Highly recommend Mike and Emmanuel Home Services. We originally called them to install a vanity in our bathroom, since then we have hired Mike and Dave to do multiple other projects. Installing a new faucet, fixing leaking pipes, creating a new attic door and installing canned lighting. Although Mike doesnt do the plumbing or electrical work he has contacts who are also excellent. Mike has become more than a handy man and is now a friend, he and Dave are really kind, great people. Next project... they will be tiling our shower!

Update 4/23/2023: Emmanuel Home Services is our go-to company for large and small home remodeling and repairs. Amazing trouble-shooting, critical evaluation and research of solutions and options. Keeps us informed throughout. Very responsive even after working overnight on another larger job. EHS has replaced our wind-damaged breezeway cover and improved associated roof supports. Replaced damaged doors and woodwork, matching existing finishes. Has also made quick temp fix and then permanent replacement of mailbox support had to get it done to continue mail delivery! EHS has done several jobs for us. Trustworthy, conscientious, efficient, good value. Easy to work with! Thank you Michael Newitt and Emmanuel Home Services! Original review pre-2023: We became aware of Emmanuel Services through its postcard. We usually ignore these things but had a long-overdue project: Deteriorating roof soffits and fascia boards. Upon investigating the fascia boards, they found rot under our 2.5 year-old roof that the previous roofer didn't find/mention! Emmanuel provided speedy, thorough information, answered our questions and honored our wishes. Great communication, always respectful and considerate. Excellent daily cleanup. Outstanding experience! They also rebuilt our permanent wooden patio benches. Now working on our master bathroom remodeling/repairs. Will redo our garage roof in the spring, adding a pitch to its flat roof for better drainage. Will continue to use Emmanuel Services with confidence.

Emmanuel Home Services... I really really like this business and the principal! Mike is meticulous, courteous, intelligent, and pays attention to details. When he is done with your project you cannot tell where existing and new meet. Straight lines, grains line up, no waves in drywall, smooth finish is choice, decks and fences are symetrical. Mike makes it easy to spend hard earned cash on upgrades. His pricing is VERY fair for the quality work, and he finishes on or before time. His ethical and moral standards are above board, he isnt rude, always polite, not a bad word out of his mouth. Doesnt smoke, vape, drink, etc... when he arrives or leaves there are no lingering odors. I find his attitude, work, and personality very refreshing. He is always scheduled several weeks out, but he will find time to check out bids/ideas. Great guy, don't miss this opportunity for a improvement on your property.

I shared my remodel plan with them and they did a lot of ground work in the first visit. They were very responsive on communication through both email and text message. As we move closer to converting our home to a vacation rental, I had a room in my basement that didnt have a door. I wanted to use this room for storage. I had contacted several Handy men who responded to my calls for quotes. Several of them never bothered to show up to even provide the quote, or didnt have the tools and skills required to perform the door installation. Then I found EHS... We set up a time for Mike to stop by and take a look at the project. He actually showed up! This alone was monumental, after being ghosted several times with no follow-up. He took measurements, explained some particulars and went off to order the door wed need for the space. He maintained contact with me throughout the ordering process. Even when there was a delay, he explained the situation, which resulted in the installation being pushed back a week. This morning, when I text him to confirm our appointment, he replied: Im here. Confused, I started to reply when my doorbell rang. It was Mike...at 9am, sharp! I mean, not only was this guy, factual, punctual, and communicative, but hes got integrity! I mean, I feel like I hit the motherlode. The door is awesome, and even my partner, who was against the idea of a door now loves it. Thank you Mike for the incredible service! I look forward to working with you again. If youre looking for someone who truly is handy and has the tools to back it up; someone who is courteous, respectful, professional and prompt...Mike with EHS is your guy!
