In 1981 I bought a house that was built in 1895. After 44 years we decided to remodel the master bedroom, so I called DeLaCruz Handyman because I was happy with the work they did on 2 previous jobs. It was supposed to be ripping up 44 year old carpet, replacing it with new hardwood flooring, and repairing a section of the ceiling that was damaged by a leak. It turned out that there was severe damage to the under-floor and 3 of the floor joists and rotten studs on an exterior wall where the leak had been undetected, dripping between the interior and exterior walls for many many years. They were able to replace the damaged floor joists, replace the rotted studs, fix the ceiling, and now our bedroom looks like something out of a magazine for a LOT less than many contractors would have charged. Thank you, Marco and all your extremely talented workers.

Needed help after Hurricane Ian and they were the first available contractor I could find. Poor communication, workers rarely showed up when they were supposed to. Drywall installation was ok. Tile floors were installed sloppily and messy. Quite a few chipped and cracked tiles when the tile guy came back to fix them he managed to damage more tile in the process. Shower tile was installed okay but the grout is crumbling and cracking on all corners top to bottom. When I raised awareness I was told that well probably the plumber messed up installing the tub so thats why its happening. Cabinet installers didnt properly measure cabinets, every single cabinet had a ding/dent/chip after installation. Trash and cigarette butts all over my yard. Stolen business supplies out of my garage. Im now paying even more out of pocket to have someone else come out and fix the ongoing issues Im having like my upper cabinets being improperly installed to the point where someone has to come out and shift them an inch to the right because my standard size microwave doesnt fit where its supposed to. My dads home even had one of his upper cabinets installed upside down and left without it being fixed. Last I heard from them someone was coming to finish the job by replacing the trim on my exterior doors, havent heard from them since. I was charged $34,000 for the work provided and feel absolutely taken advantage of while enduring the trauma of a catastrophic hurricane to our home.

House was bought as new build. After living in it for 6 months the house is falling apart. Master bedroom shower needs a full gut Ceilings and concrete cracking. When showed the house there where shutters now they took them back before we moved in. Front door dont seal. Still havent got the keys for the garage. Owner not responding and his company is giving us the run around. Wouldnt recommend buying from them
