I noticed that most of the reviews are nothing real current. They are 10 months to a year old my experience its not a great one. I asked for someone to call me. Give me some quotes on two projects that I wanted done called right away that was over two weeks ago or longer. No one has ever gotten back with me or come out to see what I needed done. They just operating from the desk and a phone. Highly disappointed

Mr. Preston Martin was an absolute star when performing the work on the exterior door and doorframe for my mother in laws home. Preston was prompt and on time, and took his time performing the necessary repair work at the entrance of her home. This work was extremely challenging because this is a 50 year old home, and were trying to preserve the original features of the entry way. Preston was able to use his skills and knowledge to remove, trim, and reset the original heavy wood door, while also making the necessary adjustments to the doorframe to accommodate smooth opening and closing of the door. I was very concerned about this task because I had already spoken to several contractors who seemed uncertain if they would be able to perform this task. After witnessing Preston exceeded in this task, we have already lined up additional projects for his team to perform. Replacing several doors throughout the home, and also installing an electric security gate for my mother in law to access her driveway. The current gate is manually operated. Thank you so much Preston and the Cransten team! Were looking forward to the next task :-). V. Hankinson

I called/emailed quite a handful of companies to repair my rotting front porch pillars that essentially hold up the front of the house awning. As I'm not trying to sell the house, I just needed something to be more of a structural fix that would last, rather than a full-on pillar replacement. Every company I called or emailed (aside from Cransten) either complained that repairs are not possible, and I need a full 8000-dollar replacement, or they straight up ignored me and didn't want to handle the task. Cransten however was able to look at the problem and easily handle it with care. Removing the rotted bottoms, and replacing them with weather treated wood, along with sealing it and painting it. It was no issue for them. They also fixed up the railing between the pillars since they had to temporarily remove them to access the pillars. After a couple of months, everything still looks great, and I can tell this should be more than sufficient for many decades since the rest of the pillars are still top notch. Now I don't need to worry about the structural integrity of the front of our house. I believe it was Glen Hilliard that performed the work and he did great and answered any questions or concerns I had with care while onsite. Would do business again.

Everyone was very professional and polite. The manager gave me a quote that was accurate and told me Preston would be my handyman. Preston gave me a call a day later to introduce himself and asked about what quote I was given to ensure it was accurate. Preston did a great job and walked me through the when process. I cannot say enough good things about Cransten. We have been looking for someone to help renovate our master bath and we were blessed to have Preston come out to do the work. He not only did an amazing job, but he has a wonderful work ethic, he's a perfectionist at heart, and an all-around great guy. Our end result was so much more than we ever anticipated, and the price was very reasonable. Brian was very patient with me in the beginning while I asked a million questions and added to the initial project, and I greatly appreciate the time and attention. This has been a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend Cransten. The attached pics show the fabulous tile work that Preston completed. It is still a work in progress, the tile looks amazing!!
