Sebastian, our Project Manager, was competent and kept everything on track. The painting itself and repairs around the house were thorough and beautifully done. When an issue arose, the owner personally addressed it immediately, took full responsibility, and ensured our comfort moving forward. Amazing! They sprayed my cabinet doors and drawers. Result is a glass smooth finish. I wish I found them years ago! Excellent throughout the entire process and the only company I found that actually sprays in their booth and lets cure the proper amount of time. Highly recommend.

I cant say enough good things about this company! Everyone was exceptional. We had our kitchen cabinets and surrounding areas painted and they turned out perfect. The mangers of the project kept us informed every step of the way and always followed up. The painter was meticulous. I highly recommend them and plan to use them for future projects. Unbelievable experience! I want to personally acknowledge both Mike and Sebastian they were exceptional. From start to finish, they were communicative, supportive, and incredibly attentive to every detail. I am EXTREMELY detail-oriented and probably not the easiest customer, but they went above and beyond in every way. We originally brought them in because new door installations had caused significant drywall damage. They repaired, sanded, and painted everything flawlessly. Our project included the entire first floor, stairwell, and second-floor landing ceilings, walls, and trim and they refreshed our home beautifully. We will absolutely be hiring them again to complete the rest of our home in 2026. Finding the right contractor can be challenging, and I can say with complete confidence that you will not be disappointed choosing Chesapeake Painting.

Our experience with Blue Star Chesapeake Painters was just ok. Parts of the job were done satisfactorily, but others unacceptable and not what was discussed. Additionally, the patio is stained with paint. I will not use them again.

We chose Blue Star because of their positive Google reviews, but our experience was very disappointing. The workmanship throughout our home is poor and should have been caught during a final walkthrough, if one had been done. We specifically asked for a walkthrough before the crew left, but were told to just call if we had issues. When we called them back, they only addressed the specific items we pointed out instead of inspecting their own work. As weve lived in the home, weve continued to find more missed areas and sloppy finishing. I sent detailed photos of the issues to their quality control department, but no one ever responded. That silence says a lot about how they stand behind their work. Given the overall poor quality and lack of accountability, we feel a response and refund would have been appropriate. Weve since hired another contractor for a different property and had a much better experience for a significantly lower price. Based on our experience, Blue Stars workmanship and customer service do not reflect the high ratings theyve received which leaves me to speculate that their glowing reviews are paid.

The whole crew at Blue Star Chesapeake Paint & Renovations was a pleasure to work with and they did a great job! The project manager, Sebastian, was an excellent communicator and proactively reached out to make sure we were happy with the work and if there was anything we wanted different. He was quick to take action when we asked. The workers, Elmer, Jose, and their team were very hardworking and detail oriented. They did a very thorough job and took their time. The office staff were great to work with -flexible when we needed it and professional the whole time. We really found it helpful to work with the color consultant they provided, which was included in the work. From start to finish we were happy customers! Would highly recommend!

Three story historical home with a significant amount of exterior damage due to age. This awesome & conscientious crew did an outstanding job on all exterior windows & trim painting with glazing as well as sill repair. Also repaired existing porch stairs & stained floor boards to look like new. Supervisors & estimators are very prompt, professional, helpful and provided excellent services. Its great to have one company for both repairs and painting.

Great experience from the beginning of the process with reaching out for an estimate, getting a timely response, cost, and then scheduling the team to paint the main floor of our home. We even changed a paint color throughout the process and were accommodating the entire time. The end result is exactly what we were looking for, and the team was super communicative and worked clean. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Chesapeake Painting. From getting an estimate all the way through completing the job the communication was outstanding as was the quality of the work. I especially want to call out Mike the estimator and the painters, Jeremia and Jose. They were excellent at communicating, constantly checking in to see if I had any questions all through the project. I would never use anyone else to paint my house.

I wanted to have my kitchen cabinets painted and reached out to Chesapeake based on their reviews. My island was a different color than the rest of my cabinets and they did an excellent job color matching. EVERYONE involved was outstanding, communication was exceptional and price very reasonable. The painting crew was meticulous. You definitely get the feeling that the customer is a priority. I am so pleased, I am asking them to paint my laundry room and dining room butler pantry cabinets and look forward to that. Amazing job! Had our first level, our entryway, and upstairs hallway painted! Ina edition we had some sections of ceilings fixed as well. They did an incredible job.
