Jeff's team did an excellent job with a combination of patching some holes and painting at our house. They were prompt, efficient and were very careful cleaning up. Their quote was reasonable and we were able to schedule the job quickly. However, the key reason that I had engaged Jeff was to give me advice on why the hole was there in the first place. Within a year of his patching the hole in the ceiling, the problem was back. I don't believe he gave me good advice, and he didn't seem to have any interest in helping to fix the problem when I called him. I've clearly wasted my money working with him.

2026 update - The team came back for a kitchen touch up where I had demolished paint with peel and stick backsplash, plus bathroom, living room, and stairwell painting. All was immaculate and done quickly. They also provided suggestions that made the final result that much better. Will be calling them for all of my painting needs. 2022 - It was so quick to get a quote and book with CertaPro of Newton. We needed our kitchen painted with some difficult to reach spots. The team was done within the day and everything was great.

The team from CertaPro did a really nice job in our old house. We had thick cracking paint in the closets, likely with lead. Rather than scraping and making a mess, sheetrock was applied to the entire closet interior, then sealed and primed. The mess was minimized (and cleaned up thoroughly). The closets look great, with new smooth walls and no possibility of peeling lead paint. We will be having the team back to do more painting soon.

Jeff and his team did a great job. The team was able to fix some water damage in our bathrooms. They were able to patch everything up and repaint the bathrooms in a day. They were able to color match the wall color, patch, prep and apply 2 coats in a single day. They arrived bright an early and stayed until after 5pm to make sure they could finish. When Jeff walked through the work with his team, I asked if they had time could they do some exterior painting also (entry way columns). They took care of that before they left for the day. They did a great job fixing the wall and the painting itself. I am definitely going to have them come back next spring to have the team stain my porch.

Jeff Chin and his team were great to work with. Our house was overdue for a painting. There were sections of wood that needed to be replaced due to woodpecker damage, and sections of wood that were rotted. Jeff's quote was detailed - it gave us a sense of what the work included, any special carpentry work that his team was going to do. Since the team was going to have a carpenter present, we asked Jeff to help us look at a carpentry issue inside the house. He was very accommodative. The team was present for about 6 days to complete the exterior house painting. They started with a pressure wash of the house, then removed any rotted wood, and then proceeded to put down a coat of primer before the final finishing coat. They either patched or replaced some of the siding that needed attention. When the work was done, we went over the final job and had a few final areas that needed to be touched up. The team came back another half day to finish the job. At the end, they wrapped up all construction debris and had a trash removal firm picked up the debris. The team completed the job on budget. There were no cost surprises. We will definitely use this CertaPro team again.
