Manny and team did an amazing, professional job for our needs. They made beautiful new shelves for our closet and made it into a clean, well lit space. They also completely overhauled our pantry and replaced an external door with materials that will not rot. They were on time, fast, efficient and professional. I recommend B&G for your remodeling needs!

We had a great experience working with B&G Home Improvement. They did a top notch job from start to finish fixing some rotting wood on our soffits and fascia. They matched the existing areas so perfectly, that it is hard to identify what was existing and what is new. The team was so pleasant to work with and very professional as well!

Excellent and timely work on our bathroom. We are very pleased. Mr. Bolain is very easy to work with and his men do detailed but quick and beautiful work, and clean up. Highly recommend B&G!

Manny and the team were efficient, communicative, and the outcome was phenomenal! They resided and painted the house and it looks like new! The team did a great job thinking about the big picture while also focusing on the details. Highly recommended.

Manny and his team made some major exterior improvements (new deck, replaced worn siding and wood, house painting) to my home. Their work is meticulous they even painted my mailbox. My home looks better than it ever has. I would strongly recommend B&G, and will use them exclusively in the future for any work I need. -Mark Seiler, Chapel Hill

Would leave negative twenty stars if I could due to how horrible this company is. On 1/30/24, Manny and I agreed to have him do a new-construction window install as part of my larger kitchen renovation. After I approved the estimate, he said he would get started that day to pull the permit, and that the permit would likely be approved within just a few days. I had previously stressed the drop-dead deadline of needing to have the work completed by 2/26, so in January when he insisted on scheduling the work for the last few days leading up to that, I expressed my concerns, but he said it wouldn't be a problem, it would be done in time. Knowing he was so quick to jump to pull the permit provided some reassurance and relief, although I was still concerned with the tight timeline hed put us on. The week before the work was set to begin, I still had not heard from him with any updates, so I emailed him. No response. I emailed him again. No response. I then called. At this point the work was supposed to have started the day prior, so I was starting to panic. Finally Manny picked up the phone, and when I identified myself and said I was calling to check on the status of the work because I had not heard from him, even in response to my emails, he told me he was out of the country due to a family emergency, and he said he did not have access to email, so he did not receive my emails earlier in the week asking about the status of the work (including even just the status of the permit approval, which I was starting to worry was not done). Look, I truly, completely understand that emergencies happen, but this was now two weeks even after the estimated date when he said we'd have permit approval, and I had not heard from him at all in that period. There was no notification from him that he was leaving the country, nor did he delegate this notification task to anyone else on his team, or even a local friend or family member so he did not leave his clients hanging in the balance, unaware that their contractor was now unable to perform the work on schedule. It also seems very odd to me that one wouldn't have internet access, particularly given that he did have cell phone access, and thus likely could access email through his phone. I've traveled to very remote regions numerous times and never been completely cut off from my email. Ever. There is always an internet cafe or someone local who has internet access that I can use, at the very least. As my mom has always said, Those who want find a way. Those who dont find an excuse. When I pressed him, asking why he did not even notify me that he was going to be leaving the country and thus wouldn't be able to perform the work on time, he said we had been communicating by text, and that he receives 30-50 texts a day, so text message threads quickly get lost, including any we'd had. I then pressed him again, pointing out that it was not just text that we were communicating by, we had also been communicating through phone calls. He then said that he did not have my number saved, so could not call me. This was going from bad to worse, and was pretty shocking. You have multi-thousand-dollar work booked and scheduled on the calendar, multiple correspondences with the client, but you do not have their phone number saved anywhere?! I then asked him to confirm the permit was at least approved. He said he delegated that to someone else in his office when he left town, so he was not sure of the status. (So you *did* allegedly think to do that much, but not to notify me that the project schedule was now at risk and that you'd be unavailable?! And note: this means either that after wed agreed to the work in January, he immediately left town before he could submit the permit, thus hed either been out of town for weeks without taking any action in that period; or it means he left more recently but hadnt submitted the permit during any of the previous weeks when he said had either way, a serious lapse of responsibility.) We recently had B&G Home Improvement replace three windows and two patio style doors in our condo. Most importantly the work was done very well and looks very good. The crews were focused and even found some hidden water damage and repaired that to match the existing finishes. Another important point is that they were able to work with me on a very tight schedule, completing the work during a busy week for them. Thanks to the entire group of installers and finishers!

I had B&G install two outside doors that involved removing the old doors and frames, painting the new doors, and repairing the surrounding drywall. They did an excellent job, right down to the last detail. I will definitely be hiring them again for future projects. They were recommended by Fitch Lumber and they did not disappoint.

The crew did a great job replacing several second story windows, installing new trim, and painting. Will definitely hire again for future projects.

Our primary bath remodel turned out BEAUTIFULLY and Manny was very pleasant and professional. However communications between Manny and his subcontractors regarding important details seemed to be lacking at times. Tile subcontractor did not consult with us regarding matching of colors/veining in tile before installing. The electrician had to return twice - once to re-do work and another to do work not communicated by general (electrical for bidet). The seal at the bottom of brand new glass shower door started tearing within 90 days (and only two of us use that shower). Shower grout developed a bubble/hole and we have contacted him numerous times over 4 months to get this fixed, I have waited to post this review, in hopes that all items would be cleared. Alas, they have not. UPDATE-Shower door seal and grout have been repaired as of 10/11/23.

This company does first class work. I highly recommend. Manny is responsive and sent a crew almost immediately. I will hire them again.

Great contractors who fixed our deteriorated and unsafe deck posts and repaired our siding (chewed by our bad dogs). The work was done very well, quickly and at a great price point! Would highly recommend them.
