I had a very disappointing experience with Vegas Valley Handyman Remodeling and would not use them again. I originally contacted them after a guest renting a room in my home caused water damage to my hardwood flooring by accidentally defrosting a mini fridge freezer. Mike and another worker came out to inspect the issue. During the first visit, they removed a few panels by hand in less than 15 minutes with no equipment involved and charged me $350. I paid the invoice without argument because I understood it was an urgent situation. The issue began when I later asked for clarification about the pricing because I needed detailed documentation for a reimbursement dispute with the guest who caused the damage. I was not asking them for a refund. I simply needed a breakdown and supporting information for the rental platform claim. Before hiring them, I was reassured that they were familiar with these situations and could help provide the documentation needed for reimbursement cases. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. When I started asking direct questions about the charges, especially the undisclosed $250 emergency fee, Mike became extremely defensive and condescending. At no point before arrival was I informed there would be a $250 emergency surcharge just for coming out immediately. Had that been disclosed upfront, I would have chosen to wait. The conversation became uncomfortable enough that I no longer felt at ease in my own home. I even explained that I am autistic and can sometimes communicate very directly so there would not be misunderstandings, but the interaction only became colder and more dismissive. Questions were left unanswered while they were already walking out the door mid-conversation. I still moved forward with the repair work because the project had already begun, but the professionalism continued to decline. The workers left debris and a mess behind in my home, forgot basic supplies like paint brushes, and attempted to leave without completing the agreed scope of work. I had to personally pull up the written scope and point out that the baseboards had not been repainted as promised. Only then did the workers admit they had no paint brushes with them. I ended up having to search through my own garage and provide my personal paint brushes so they could finish the job I was already paying for. The most frustrating part is that I ultimately lost my reimbursement dispute with the guest because I never received the proper documentation and clarity I repeatedly asked for from this company, despite being told in the beginning that they were experienced with helping homeowners through these situations. Between the repair costs and denied reimbursement claim, I ended up losing over $1,000. Overall, this experience involved poor communication, lack of transparency regarding fees, unprofessional behavior when asked reasonable questions, incomplete preparation for the job, and failure to provide the support they originally promised. I just moved here from California and needed a doggie door installed right away. I called to get info on the project. Lenny and Benito came and installed my door. They were so professional and friendly. If you need a handyman service I would defidilty call them again. Im sure il have more projects for them to do in the future.

My daughter decided her towel rack was the perfect new jungle gym a couple days ago so I had to shop for some handymen to come and repair. I called around and got some crazy quotes for something this small and every time I mentioned about making sure the towel rack was rehung I would get upcharged. This company off rip beat everyones prices for this job. Lenny came to my house and was amazing, quick and straight to work. Got the job done perfectly and even leveled everything in front of me to make sure I was happy. Will absolutely be coming back and asking for him every job I have for my new home Thank you Lenny!

We had a baby gate installed at the top of our stairs (at an angle) by Vegas Handyman & Remodeling. The initial install needed to be redone, but they responded quickly and sent a second crew who did the job right. The final result is solid, secure, and looks professionalexactly what you want for something safety-critical. I appreciated that they stood behind their work and made it right without any hassle. That kind of accountability goes a long way. Overall, a good experience and Id use them again.

Shopped around a lot before settling on these guys. I was skeptical at first because it's my first time working with this company but the guy that came by to do the estimate was really friendly, answered all the questions I had, and offered what I considered to be a reasonable price. Scheduled for Friday and they showed up early morning Friday. They brought over all materials except for paint. Two guys came by, I believe named Mailon and Noel. They got to work immediately and fixed the drywall and installed the new toilet all in a few hours. Other places said this would take a few days. No fuss, no problems. Just came in, got the job done, and left. My only minor gripe is with the ceiling paint; there were a few edges that weren't painted, and there are some paint marks on the wall, but overall, would definitely recommend!

I moved into my house five years ago and my shower is just terrible. I called Vegas handyman & remodeling to have them fix my tiles and re-grout my shower. I called them on a Monday and the owner Mike answered. He was very very nice. He said he could come out the next day, but I had to wait due to my work schedule till the next week, Sergio came out and gave me an estimate for the whole shower to be redone. Once I accepted the offer, which I feel was very fair, they put me on the schedule for two days later. Lenny and Benito came out and did an excellent job. Im very pleased with their work and definitely would recommend and will use them again. Every employee I dealt with was very pleasant and very professional.

I called Vegas Valley Home services to haul 6 doors upstairs and rehang them. I wasnt sure this would fall under handyman duties. The nice young lady on the phone didnt hesitate and said absolutely. Within an hour two gentleman showed up for the free estimate. Of course I said yes and before I was done with the phone payment, Derrick already had 2 doors hung. Steve got to work moving doors up being careful not to get any grease on doors which I appreciate. Steve and Derrick were exceptional. I would have either or both come back 100%. Ill definitely be calling this Company again.

The egas Handyman team did really good work. They get you on their schedule very promptly and they show up. We had a combination of interior projects requiring skill and craftsmanship as well as a pretty major exterior demo. They brought the right expertise for both projects - skilled and precise work inside, hard work and coordination for the demo. Great communications from management and responsiveness to all of our requests throughout the project. Stayed true to the bid quote. A very professional and courteous crew. Definitely recommend Vegas Handyman for these kinds of projects and would employ them again.

Absolutely phenomenal work done by Affordable Drywall. Ive used them twice now and each time they have done everything from patched drywall, textured correctly, and painted where you cannot tell any work was even done. Torey is a master at his craft and is always on time and works until the job is done. Amazingly nice guy and love working with them. Would not recommend anyone else to fix anything drywall related! Thanks for the attention to detail and getting the job done right!
