The work they do is solid... if you are not on a schedule. The owner showed up the first day I called and gave me a good price. Required 1/2 up front. He told me it would be a 2-3 day project. After agreeing and being paid in, it took a month for them to frame, insulate, and drywall half a room. There were several no call no shows after being repeatedly told someone would be there. The times they did show up, it was hours late. I was also told they would come in and do a clean up after... Every bit of the mess is still there from the paper, to the drywall mud, to debris all over the floor, to insulation in the garage, and a pile of pieces of sheetrock left outside the garage. I will give credit where it is due: the work, once it finally got done, does look nice. I can't complain about the work. However, if you hire them, take whatever timeframe they give you and multiply it by about 5-10.

We appreciate the work The Patch Guys did and wanted to share some feedback that could help improve the overall experience. To start with the positives: they were generous in allowing us to use their contractor discount when purchasing paint, and even let us use their paint sprayerboth of which were extremely helpful and saved us time and money. That kind of support doesn't go unnoticed and was definitely appreciated. However, there are areas that could use improvements. Better communication around arrival days and times would go a long way. It's important to show up when scheduled or at least keep clients informed of any delays or changes in timing. This helps manage expectations and shows respect for the customer's time. Second, while the work is generally acceptable, there is room for improvement in the overall quality. Attention to detail and a more polished finish would make a noticeable difference and enhance customer satisfaction. Lastly, providing upfront, itemized receipts before the job starts would be greatly appreciated. This level of transparency ensures clients know exactly what theyre paying for and helps build trust. Overall, The Patch Guys offered some helpful support during the project, and with a few improvements in communication, quality, and billing clarity, they could offer an even better service.

Chez showed up to talk about hanging hardy board in my basement. Just a consultation. He showed up and told me SEVERAL times in a few minutes that he needed payment up front. And I told him i could do that. He said my project was so small he would just take cash up front. He insisted he needed $300 cash up front and he then told me he could just take me to small claims court if he needed to but would pay more than he would recover. Court is a strange thing to bring up at a consult but he went on to insist several more times he needed cash up front. I told him I didnt have $300 on me today and I would have to call him tomorrow and at that point he walked out of my house while I was still talking to him and got in his car and drove away, he got down my street just to send me a text that said the project was too big and he couldnt do it. He was aggressive with wanting cash at a consultation and when I couldnt give it to him at that very moment he walked out mid conversation and declined doing the project all together.

OMG !!!!! This is who you are looking for, but didnt realize it! Chez is an absolute artist. We had a bedroom in our basement that was flooded from the ceiling down. We had remediation done to air and dry it all out, but , all the seams on the ceiling failed. Chez called me back, shot me a price, and fixed the entire ceiling the next day. When I say fixed, I mean, he mudded, and textured the seams to the match where you cant tell the difference from the original. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!!!

I've Never left a google review before, but after this I thought it was much needed. I called and scheduled an appointment with one of the "owners", not only did he pull a no call, no show. I called him 30 minutes before the appointment to double check the date, time and location. HE TOLD ME HE WAS ON HIS WAY!! Then never showed up. I even waited a couple days thinking maybe an emergency happened or he blew a tire, nope. This guy could of cared less.

Chez is not rely able. He set up 3 appointments with our daughter in west end and he did no show up or even descent enough to call and cancel the appointments. Will not recommend him to any one we know. Would definitely not recommend him or his business The Patch Guys

These guys were all great. From the owner, to the taper and mudder and to the painter that finished the job. They were all excellent. Chez is very responsive which I really appreciated. Marcus and Steven were so polite and thorough in their work. They were all around great guys and did an amazing job on fixing another contractors awful work. It looks 1000xs better and I truly appreciated each of them. I would definitely call these guys for big and small jobs. Hard working guys that care about their customers and it shows.

Called to see if Patch Guys could fix a couple of holes our puppy had chewed in the wall & was more than a little surprised when he said he could come the next day! Customer service like no other! He even worked over the weekend! And the finished job is just as wonderful as the service response...A+!
