Great company don't listen to the haters

I hired this company to patch a hole in my plaster, and blend the patch into the existing plaster, above the fireplace. The company left with the job unfinished, I called them, and two weeks later they came back to finish the job. To blend the patch they skim coated with Easy Sand, which is a fast setting drywall mud material. The instructions for which state DO NOT USE FOR SKIM COATING. If you do, the easy sand can dry out before it has time to cure, leading to failure. Within a few months the skim coat started to fail (see photos). The entire wall now needs to be sanded down and a new skim coat applied with the correct material. I did not reach out a second time for them to rectify their mistake as I had lost faith in their ability to do it right.

The Finished Edge did a great job repairing some extensive damage to the EIFS on our home. They were very responsive and had great communication. Their crews were courteous and friendly and they really know what they are doing. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

In this day of contractors who may or may not show up, The Finished Edge stands out for their amazing customer service, the quality of their work, and the professionalism of their entire team. We had a neighbor recommend them for some drywall replacement and repair for a bathroom remodel we were doing. They walked over from the neighbors, took a look at what our plan was and said they would get our info to their drywall crew. Within 3 weeks, the job is completed!!! Not only was it done quickly, the workmanship is awesome. They had to blend our knock-down ceiling into the new area that they installed, and blend the wall texture of the new walls with the exisiting. Can't say enough about the quality and professionalism (even down to how well they cleaned up after themselves). Can't wait to get started painting!

Would not recommend this company to anyone! The first day of work the left parts of my ceiling outside in one of my flower pots and part of the light fixture on my outside chair. The second day they left my hose strung across the drive way with the water running, mind u I dont get home till after 7pm. The 3rd day they just werent going to work untill I told them the way they left my house was unacceptable. Then proceeded to leave furniture in front of my moms bedroom so she couldnt get in or out because she uses a walker for assistance. The then worked on the kitchen walls when they werent even supposed to do work in the kitchen and left my walls grey and white striped. And didnt even fix the wall that they were supposed to do in my daughters room and ruined her carpet. They said they would take that amount off of the bill and didnt! Not to mention I had to call them back because they left paint and drywall all over my furniture. Not professional about anything!!! Do not use this company!!!
