I reached out to Carmen after I saw a positive review for That 1 Painter on a Facebook group. He was very responsive and came out within a week to discuss my job. I was so impressed after that first meeting, that I booked That 1 Painter to paint my foyer, upstairs landing, living room, and kitchen. Henry and all the painters were all great! The first day they arrived, Henry went over the details of the job with me. The painters took great care in covering all my furniture, repairing small cracks and filling holes, and they finished quickly. Henry did a final walkthrough when they were finished to touch-up any areas that needed it, and then also had me do a walkthrough to make sure I was fully satisfied with everything. From that first meeting through to the completion of the job, Carmen was communicative, professional, and helpful. I highly recommend That 1 Painter and I will be using them for future jobs!

The entire process- from consult to job completion- was seemless. The owner was communicative, clearly identified the scope of work, and quoted a reasonable price. The job site team were friendly, professional, and very efficient. They did a great job, and at a faster pace than I would have anticipated. The project manager stopped by as they were finishing up to make sure the work met my standards and the business' standards. He was also very professional and friendly. I'm very satisfied with their service and plan to use them again for future drywall and painting projects.

Let me start my saying I am a verified customer of That 1 Painter. Our recent experience with them was exceptional in every way. From owner Carmen's first visit to assess our project right through to project completion, the entire team was professional and dedicated to the project. The work included repainting all of our kitchen and master bath cabinets--an enormous, time-consuming undertaking. The results were absolutely stunning. You will get a very detailed quote in writing so the scope and cost of the work is clear. I can't begin to say enough about the team who did the work. Each person showed up on time every day. They worked very, very hard, only breaking for lunch. The quality of the work was absolutely excellent. Carmen's right hand man Henry oversaw the project each day when he went over the prior's day work. He was a pleasure to work with. After 20 years, we decided to paint the majority of our home interior. After taking several bids for the job, we opted to go with That 1 Painter in Williamsburg, VA. Our first encounter was with Carmen Racciatti who met with us promptly, went through the options, project scope, colors, paints from Shirwin Williams and more, and got us on schedule allowing time for our home preparations. We spent a considerable amount of time with Carmen which did not feel rushed or pressured. Carmen provided references and other materials in a professional portfolio folder. We were very specific about scope of work which was very helpful. On the first of six paint days, the crew arrived on time and got right to work and ended their day shortly after 5PM. Each day was the same with clean up to ensure accumulated debris from wall crack repairs, sanding and the like were not allowed to build up. The paint crew lead was very attentive, careful, and detailed. Every question, concern was promptly met with a can-do response. We always felt we could engage the painters directly as needed. The paint crew focused on prep-work with painting to follow which made for excellent outcomes room after room. We just had our entire downstairs interior painted and the team at That1Painter Williamsburg far exceeded our expectations (and I have perfectionist tendencies mixed with a hint of skepticism)! Carmen is incredibly responsive, patient (with me!), adaptable, and his pricing was reasonable without sacrificing quality of product or craftsmanship. The site-based team was in our home for a total of four days from start to finish, and was professional, efficient, highly-skilled, detail oriented, and dedicated to our project. I am not sure how they managed to do so, but it was apparent that they took great care to ensure the area was as clean and functional as possible before packing up each evening. They showed pride in their work, were open to feedback, and made any adjustments requested in real time. If you need a painter, let me be the one to assure you that this IS the right company. Not your best work. They ripped a hole in my floor, but they are not responsible. Then suggested to use their floor guy to fix it. They didn't have the right information. They didn't bring the right people for the job. They didn't listen to the client. We won't be using them in the future ever again. Update: from your reply.... you did a crap job. Your painters did a crap job.

That 1 Painter Williamsburg recently completed what I call a "complex project"./ That included painting all of our interior walls and ceilings. It required moving all our furniture to allow for the painting and carefully wrapping flooring and furniture in protective coverings. All was accomplished without incident. The walls and ceilings were done with no blemish that I could find. The trim worked well and really "pops" - which was our goal. The job did take longer than we had supposed and we did miss accessing our kitchen when the painting was done there. All in all, good value for the money and Management (Carman and Hernon) are excellent to work with and will really step over backwards to make you happy.

We hired That 1 Painter of Williamsburg to paint the interior of our 3,200 square foot home (ceilings, walls and trim) before move-in day. This enormous job was completed in a two- week time frame, in a manner that was both professional and flawless. In particular, the wall repair they did (which is kind of an art form) was superb. Carmen, the companys owner, delivered on his promise to respond to questions and concerns in a timely manner throughout the process, and his attention to detail and communication made this project a huge success. We cannot thank him enough!

He conferred with me through aspects of the job and gave me a fair estimate. Carmen had his crew on the job site in a timely manner on the day we projected the job start. Hernan hIs foreman did a wonderful job Supervising the crew. Carmen told me he would do the job to my satisfaction and hes a man of his word. We had a weather related issue that required some touchups to the deck floor. He sent a crew back out to touch that up Immediately.
