Although I ended up not needing his services, Jonathan was incredibly helpful every step of the way with our quote, our revised quote, setting up a call to discuss the job, getting us on his schedule, and working with our timeline. Rarely do you find a contractor who communicates this well. We had a family friend offer to do the work; otherwise it was an absolute no-brainer to go with that 1 Painter. Will defintitely be seeking out their services for future needs.

I hired That One Painter to refinish my kitchen cabinets and island. The job was marked finished, but when I looked closely I found a lot that had been missed: the crown/top molding wasnt painted, there were visible holes left in the very top cabinets (it seemed like they assumed I wouldnt see them), and several chips/marks on the cabinet faces that I had to point out. Underneath my island the paint was bubbled; it had to be sanded and repaintedtwice. None of these issues were addressed until I brought them up. When the crew came back for corrections the painter actually suggested I go out, buy, and pick up the white paintpaint that should have been included in the original scope and price. That really surprised me, especially given what I paid. To be fair, the project designer, Gigi, was responsive and tried to be helpful throughout, and I appreciate her efforts. But the overall experience felt like one shortcut after another, plus repeated inconveniences and extra time on my end. For the cost, I expected the work to be done correctly the first time and without me having to quality-check every surface. I wouldnt hire this company again. If you do move forward with them, I strongly recommend doing a detailed walk-through before final payment and making sure all materials are clearly included in writing.

I was worried because we had dark green plaster walls and were painting it off white. However, they did not disappoint. The team was finished the day they said and left the home clean. I cant say how pleased we are with That 1 Painter. As you can see our 20 year old stained cabinets look new and modern, and the blue-green backsplash really makes them stand out. I especially appreciate Gigi who ensured things were done right done right and to our satisfaction. She is exceptional , as were Juan, our painter, and now Johnathon, who is a cabinet expert. I have to admit, I was a little nervous when That 1 Painter said the could do the job for 2/3s the price other companies quoted me. But this time, the best price was also a great job, well done.

I hired That 1 Painter to paint my back porch and two accent walls inside my home. I was so impressed with how easy it was to get the estimate, the incredible communication from start to finish, and even when I chose to add a wall to be painted while the painters were here in my house they were so accommodating 🙂 They took special care to tape everything off and layout drops and protect my furniture and my things. I will definitely be using them in the future for additional projects in my home 🙂

Absolute worst job. John and his project manager were horrible. The job was poorly managed, lots of delays, the painting crew did not know which walls they were painting, they were drinking on the job. I saw A case of modelo beer in my fridge (the house was unoccupied) and then I found empty bottles around the house in the rooms they painted. I would never recommend them to anyone. This was a big 10K job and John told me I would get his 3 best craftsmen I had about 10 different painters here on different days which was a huge part of the issue. No oversight. Stay away from this company.

Not great. Price was average. We were very clear during the time of estimate, before signing, that we expected quality and a lot of prep, and we discussed some specific examples. Unfortunately the majority of that never happened. It looks like we did it ourselves, rather than hired professionals. Major lack of prep, so there is paint on the floors (in all rooms) near the baseboards, paint splatter on cabinets and on countertops, as well as not amazing cut in lines, drips on the walls etc etc. Maybe with a better project manager the outcome could have been better bc the workers themselves were very nice and willing to help with things, but they just had no direction and very little oversight and we didn't have a spanish speaker at home when they were there. I do not recommend.
