Hello, my last name is Hoeck that is probably how you will find the job you guys did at my place. You covered up can lights in one of my closets, there is a long wall with the drywall tape peeling and also drywall screws showing through, and you refused to do anything about it when we contacted you. T.A.K. Drywall Specialists were absolutely fantastic. Professional, prompt and outstanding craftsmanship!! They repaired and taped drywall and pained two rooms. They had to repair mistakes from a previous contractor I had hired. T.A.K. craftsmanship was far superior to the previous contractor. I only wish I hired T.A.K. in the first place. The dining room and bedroom above look absolutely beautiful now! I could not be happier with the final result! Thank you T.A.K.!!! They are a great company and I strongly recommend their work.

My 1991 bathroom went to 2020 spa! Tom and his employees/contractors work like they are remodeling their own house. They are friendly, clean up after themselves and are trustworthy. There are so many decisions to make when remodeling that whenever I couldnt decide, Tom made suggestions which I usually went with and was very happy with the end result. When I moved into my condo in 2016, Tom worked on the living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway, guest bedroom and bathroom and totally remodeled my basement into a family room and also added a 1/2 bathroom. He was the only person I wanted to do my master bath remodel.

Tom came out Tuesday to give us a quote (after TAK Drywall Specialists reached out to me repeatedly) because I submitted an Angie's List inquiry into our drywall project. We recently had our whole house rewired and have a few medium sized ceiling and wall holes and a few dings we need patched. I always get 2-3 quotes for every project so I welcomed the "2nd opinion" and took their persistence as initiative. The walk through went about as expected though the job was over-explained to me several times as though I didn't understand what he was talking about. My wife and I flipped our previous home and are quite familiar with the process of renovating properties, so this was more of a mild annoyance. However, the reason I'm inclined to give TAK Drywall Specialists 2/5 is because after them tracking me down repeatedly for their business, I had to track them down for their quote. I explained to Tom we had tentatively booked another sub-contractor for the next week and that we we're looking to get a quote in a reasonably timely manor so that if I decided to go with TAK for our drywall job, I could give the other drywaller proper notice so he could book another job (I just want to be considerate). I called late Thursday after getting Tom out on Tuesday and was promised a call back that day, though I didn't get one. I explained when calling on Thursday that I was not trying to be impatient, just considerate to other professionals. I called again on Friday and though I did get a call back, the response I got was basically a verbal scolding about how Tom didn't understand my "persistence", "impatience" in calling, and reminded me "you must have forgotten" / " I already told you", etc. Clearly he forgot what I told him about our timeline & didn't get the specifics from the woman at the company I talked to. I should also mention the quote they finally sent was DOUBLE the cost of many other professionals. Not sure if this was done out of spite, or if it was genuine. I typically post nothing but positive reviews, but I would forgo using this company for your next project.

I used TAK for a second time on a bit of a complex drywall project. We had to tear down and completely re-build a wall for my new home theater and had to take into account allowing access to water pipes in the back behind the wall. Tom came up with a great solution that allows full access to the pipes while maximizing the space available for my home theater. Tom is very good at what he does and very creative in finding the best solution at a very fair price. I highly recommend TAK!
