Swanson & Youngdale painted our house. I am fussy, let me put that out there right away. I also am in the trades, carpenter, so I know that preparation is the key to a good job. They deserve six stars in the prep category. Tom Mikelson was the job super our project. He did a great job. Tom was in contact when he needed to be, and kept the project rolling. Chuck the painter was really outstanding. Often the guys, and gals, that make it happen...don't get the recognition. Chuck was attentive to detail and very thorough and I didn't feel like I had to manage his punch list for him. Swanson & Youngdale are a union shop so I assumed the price would be higher than non union bids. It was some higher, but surprisingly very close to non union price. However, when comparing work on jobs completed by other bidders, they were waaaaay better than the other competitors, seriously better. A very thorough job, a fair price... I am happy.... Mike Tappe
