We hired Suburban to paint our main floor (kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, hallways, utility room and ceiling) and add insulation to out attic. I felt they did a pretty good job overall on both with relatively easy scheduling, great communication and quality work. Some of the painting did splash on a few things but we are working through getting final touch ups to clean up those items (will update review if needed). The only reason I can't give a 5 star is I don't understand why they don't have credit cards as an allowed payment method for being as big of a company as they and considering most jobs aren't cheap (however they are really competitive at their prices). I can respect if they want to add a fee to use one but to not have that as an option is extremely odd and inconvenient for today's world. Luckily we had saved enough to pay for the entire thing but keep that in mind if you ever use them however if that isn't a problem I would recommend.

The vans and box trucks continue to speed on a cut through street. It is residential with kids, dogs, the elderly, and families that walk. Please follow the speed limit which is 25mph. Just STOP speeding and respect the law.

Prior to moving in, we had Suburban replace our demolished plaster walls of our new old house with new drywall and also had them insulate the exterior & interior walls. Their price was really good. I had another general contractor I was working with on some other projects on the house tell me to go with them when I let him know what their price came in at vs his, to do the same work. Suburbans drywall install was actually good, the communication and actually getting them to show up was a big struggle. On the insulation side, I was disappointed that they used an insulation product at the exterior walls that was actually meant for an interior wall application and they completely failed to install the vapor barrier per the manufacturers guidelines, telling me we never do it that way. I expect if you specialize in drywall and insulation, you should be an expert in this stuff and be able to at least meet the baseline standards of installing it. Their delays in getting the scope of their work done almost made us miss our deadline to move in to the house. I was calling or emailing them on a daily basis, as I was promised someone would being showing up in the next day or two.... If I had to do it all over again, I would have paid 2x more to avoid the stress.

In no certain order the complaints are as follows: slow service (failed to show up several times), stolen tools from the job site employees were observed using (stelleto hammer, stanley fubar. Oh. And they denied it. My contractor had to reimburse me), drywalled incorrect walls and when informed, ignored the fact they were wrong and textured them anyway then got "snippy" about it, many circled areas for repair (drips, gouges the super himself circled) that were nothing more than acknowledged with pencil circle, and not corrected, cracked corners and seams, missed screw heads, overrcut outlets, (I know. All this and more! Rediculous right? The pictures don't lie!) uneven spray coating, failure to cover floors (globs of drywall on a concrete floor that was supposed to be stain finished), messy (garbage everywhere, don't worry guys. I cleaned it up. More than once. . .along with your empty chew bottles and cheeseburger wrappers), failure to mud all seams in a garage. I think that about all the issues, and frankly, they messed up every . . .single. . .part of their job Honestly, they are receiving little more than 4 stars on both Google locations. . .heed the warning folks. New! 1 year. New pics to add! No one at the company reaching out to address this? Weird. "Hang it, get paid, get out" mentality. How about those garbage corner seams? The corner bead just peeling away.. . How long until it just falls off? Nail heads popping? Did they bother to use screws? I had strips of drywall tape on the ceiling of my garage just fall off and I had to fix them! Complete trash job. Anyone from suburban want to reach out to me and own up to this trash work? I'd love to hear how your 3.1 star (that's right, it's fallen since my last review) rating on google is actually that high. . . Anyone want recommendations, I'll give them to you. Do yourself a favor. Get a quality installer. Let these guys go out of business. Don't do the favor of letting them drag out this pathetic excuse of a "job" any longer.

I would not hire them. They take shortcuts while driving so I am sure they'd do the same in their work. Lake Mills is a small town with truck routes but the Suburban Drywall trucks ignore the truck routes and speed through the residential streets as a short cut to get to the freeway to get to their jobsite every day. They can't obey the traffic laws so why would they follow directions and do a good job.
