We recently had to have a sunroom rebuilt and wanted to wallpaper. The gentleman who use to do our wallpapering had retired and Brian was recommended by a local paint store. We were not disappointed. Brian did a great job! He is very skilled, professional, detailed oriented, timely and communicates very well. He also hung a track light for us so his talents go beyond wallpapering. We would definitely seek his skills in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone who is particular and appreciates a job well done.

Brian and his team were very capable and did outstanding work painting, installing new crown ceiling mouldings, and removing old wallpaper and then hanging new grasscloth in our study in Novi. They showed great attention to detail and executed flawlessly. They were also prompt, polite and considerate. We would highly recommend StyleSource for home decor projects.

We had been searching for a cabinet refresh for a couple weeks, we had quotes from four sources, three of which were largish companies. The larger companies quotes were lower in price, but we felt like we wouldnt get the service we were looking for. The difference in price was not extensive. Brian quoted us a great deal, for the work and hours, we felt Brian and his team would give discretionary effort far beyond anyone else we talked too. We wanted it done the right way, not the cheap way. Brain went above and beyond! I couldnt recommend them more! Plus now we have a handy crew / man! The before picture is with the crooked door, and two afters.

Brian did an amazing job installing wallpaper on an accent wall in my living room and a mural in my master bedroom Brian was on time each day, cleaned up and really took his time doing a great job I would definitely recommend him! Brian spent a week working on a larger wallpaper/bathroom remodel in our home and he did a fantastic job. He showed up everyday on time and stayed in constant contact with us about the process. Shun assisted Brian during part of the installation and did a wonderful job as well. We also appreciated that he did a great job of cleaning up when the project was finished. Brian saw that our coat closet door had fallen off its hinges and fixed it for us without hesitation. He also retrofitted a bathroom vanity into wainscoting perfectly and installed our new bathroom lighting. We are so happy to have found Brian and would not hesitate to use him for future services. He takes his time and puts genuine care into his work. Thank you!

Brian did a fabulous job on several different projects in our home. From hanging a new ceiling fan, to replacing door trim, and repairing and painting walls and doors damaged by our pets, we are thrilled with his work. He cleaned everything up when he was done as well. Would highly recommend!

Brian from Style Source did a great job! He put up 2 ceiling fans, 4 flush/semi-flush mount lights, put together 2 twin bed frames, installed spice racks, advised on closet shelving, and inspected fire alarms.He started on time and worked steadily through the day. He is pleasant and trustworthy. He was great at the start of the day getting my dog comfortable having him in the house. He is the best handyman I have used in the past 5 years! His prices are very competitive. I will be having him do additional projects next month.

We recently had the outside of our house painted. I highly recommend Style Source for any service your home might need. Brian Carpenter, owner, is professional, meticulous, and takes great pride in his work. He was on time every single day, texted to confirm, and cleaned up at the end of each day. In addition to the quality of his work, he is kind and respectful. At one point, after the painting had started, I began to doubt my color choice. Brian totally halted the job, listened, and helped me see I had made a great choice..he was right! Even half way through, he was willing to change the color! Professional to the core. Brian had done work for us in the past. Did a great job. Had him scheduled for a few months to wash outside of house. He did it a few years ago and did a great job. Recently had Brian out to quote some painting and fixes and we didnt accept the quote. Emailed him with two weeks notice that we had to change date of upcoming house washing due to a scheduling conflict that came up and he ends up not wanting to do the house washing. Im guessing its due to the fact that we didnt accept his quote for painting/fixes. Not very professional. Will not use Brian/Style Source again if he treats customers like this. Edited - so if I wouldnt have had you quote the job I did, you would have still washed my house and everyone would have been happy. But since I had you quote a job, didnt give it to you, you got upset and didnt want to work with me. Again, very professional. Thanks for confirming.

I hired Style Source Painting and Decorating to repair walls and ceilings after installing recess lights and fix some water damage due to a roof leak. The whole experience and job done were excellent. Everything was done professionally and with quality starting from the first visit and obtaining the quote with Brian until doing and finishing the work by Andrew. I like the system Brian usse for providing quotes and scheduling the service. I had no complaints and Im a pretty picky person. Regardless of a lot of sanding work on ceilings, the house was livable during that time and there was a minimal amount of dust around. The house was clean at the end of each day. I will be definitely recommending Style Source Painting and Decorating service to others and will use their service in the future when similar home improvement service is needed.

Brian Carpenter is a master at hanging wallpaper. His painting and prep work in our small bath was very well done, itself, but how he handled the expensive wall mural I entrusted to him was nothing short of brilliant. The careful placement of the mural elements give maximum advantage to the scene. Gorgeous!
