Not a fan. My interior was estimated to take 4-5 days. There was not the same people on the job every day, creating project continuity and flow challenges. I bought the paint and Jerry estimated 10 gallons of ceiling paint when only 5 was needed. He claimed there is always extra paint. This cost me an extra $250 in paint and how much labor he figured? Who knows. The rest of the paint was estimated close enough. 3 of the painters dud excellent work and were very personable but 1 was could not paint worth a darn, could not communicate, but did all other prep, clean up etc work well. I still find sloppy paint work he did. They did not follow the manufacturer spec for time in between coats when painting the kitchen cabinets. I provided the spec to Jerry during his walk thru prior to bid. He should have planned for it. This was/is a big source of concern for me. He says he knows better. But if the foreman had that information he could have planned the job differently, starting the cabinets on day one instead of the end of the week and allowing time between coats per manufacturer. He was never given the spec until I gave it to him. By then it was too late because he was not returning for the final day. He did it all in ONE day. Example of labor discontinuity. Overall the final product ranges from excellent to mediocre. The cut in is good and the walls are well done. The process and customer experience was bad. I was so glad for it to be over. Jerry will never admit to being wrong about anything, even 5 gallons of too much ceiling paint. Plan for that. The price was competitive and fair for the final finished product. I would pay more for a better customer experience as mine was terrible. Time will tell how the cabinets hold up. And see below for quality of work example. This is how they left it.

Services performed: Stucco patching, priming stucco for 1st paint job, full exterior paint on color-integrated stucco, sealing all wood on patios. Working for a local government, I have a lot of exposure to a wide variety of contractors. I cannot recommend Stetson Painting more highly! Jerry and his team were outstanding to work with. They are extremely knowledgeable, and delivered an exceptional product on time with no surprises in budget. The best part was putting the trust in them to get the job done to the client's satisfaction without needing to be home to monitor them on a daily basis. The very few issues regarding some drip spots, touching up some sealer on wood posts on our patio, touch up of paint, etc... were promptly addressed to ensure 100% satisfaction. It's so refreshing in this day and age to have a contractor that demonstrates extraordinary integrity in their work....thank you Stetson Painting.

UPDATE: I still recommend them (see below), but was quite disappointed with a follow up call I made. As stated they filled all the joints on the exterior of my garage and repainted it. But within a month some of the filler was already done splitting apart. I called, they said it needs to have better joint sealant applied. They chose the sealant!! They were very stand offish and offered no help. So their follow through did not impress me, even if the original work was exemplary. Jerry Stetson came to my property to inspect the garage we had asked Stetson Painting to repair and repaint the exterior of. There was damage due to bad sealant application between the composite siding panel joins on the exterior walls of the structure and rust stains from the use of cheap nails during the original construction. He provided a reasonable estimate by email in the following few days detailing everything we had discussed in a contract for me to electronically sign. I sent him a check for 1/3 of the total to start the job. I had requested estimates from three different companies. Stetson Paintings estimate was clearly the best. I have solar panels on the roof, he made a point of saying they would be covered before the walls were spray painted. That avoids serious damage due to splatter. He said they might not be able to get all the old grout out, but would try. He was honest and his price point was reasonable for the work that needed doing. The two man team he sent were exemplary (Francesco and Gilbert). They were very diligent about prepping and managed to remove nearly all of the old grout before applying new material. They replaced popped nails (with screws per my request), sunk and covered the nails they could not pull and covered them with wood loaded filler which they sanded smooth. They also painted a coat of Kilz on the roof fascia boards to reduce the risk of rust stains returning. They completely masked the area and applied two coats of paint to the body of the garage, and hand painted all the trim in our chosen highlight color with two layers of that paint. The end result is excellent. They were a very competent and respectful team, and worked efficiently together. They left our property clean of any debris. We could not be happier with the result, and I will favor them for any future paint jobs that I cannot do myself in the future. I strongly recommend them.

Stetson Painting repaired and painted the walls around one of our HOA's swimming pools. The project was more difficult than many because the walls are made of burnt adobe with several areas needing repair before painting. Stetson Painting was very timely in getting the work started and in spite gusty afternoon winds forcing work to stop early a couple days, the project met our community's deadline. Good work with careful attention to details, Stetson Painting did an excellent job.
