Popcorn Removal. I am very happy with Southern Texture for removing the popcorn ceiling. Brigette took care of sending the crew to remove the popcorn ceiling on the main part of the house because I thought it will be a mess due to the dust involved when removing. Brigette told me they will take care of removing the popcorn and they will keep the house clean when they leave at the end of the day. (TRUE). The first crew (Trey, Karen and John)on the first day remove the popcorn and did the Knockdown and when they left the house it was clean no dust. Great job. Then on the painting day the crew ( Karen and Wayne) painted and complete the job and the house was cleaned when they left. Excellent job, very professional and excellent customer. I recommend them and will use them again for the rest of the house.

How disappointing ,your company was one of the last that I still had hoped would have integrity and some sense of trust and customer service. Fritz came out to give an estimate without measuring,on framing insulating and sheet rock on a wall and ceiling and paint the room. I was told the price agreed ,deposit paid, scheduled, told 3 days to complete Tuesday 9:30AM.. 10AM Tuesday I called looking for the contractor, told by Bridgette we are the second job on the list and they will be coming at 1PM..will contact me when they are on their way..4PM not a word so I called Voicemail, called David also no response not a word..6:30 PM After 5 attempts David the owner answered,told me between 9:30AM-9:45AM they will be there.. Trey arrived at 10:05 AM alone and had been told he will just be Sheet rocking one wall.. I requested a refund and received it. Be very aware ,and if Fritz is the estimator ..I would be concerned. I am so very disappointed in this company,having used them a few years ago with success. I would not recommend. Response.. Fritz was a very pleasant man.. I have never talked down to anyone in my life,nor have I ever thought of myself as better than anyone. Just do the job with communication that was written and agreed upon.

Stop scrolling. This is the contractor you want. I found Southern Textures online while researching contractors to remove the popcorn ceiling and smooth the ceilings in my new home. Their strong reviews initially gave me the confidence to shortlist them, and Im so glad I did. From the very beginning, David, the owner, stood out among the other contractors I was speaking with. He was timely, detail-oriented, and always available to answer my many questions. I booked the service about two months in advance, and when the start date approached, he had everything organized and ready to go. The crew he sent to the property reflected the same level of professionalism. They were meticulous, respectful, and always willing to explain the process and address any concerns. Although the job took slightly longer than expected due to additional ceiling work that was needed, David handled it seamlessly, and even completed the extra work at no additional charge. Despite the significant dust involved in removing popcorn ceilings, they left the property impressively clean. The entire experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. I have nothing but positive things to say about Southern Textures and Davids team. If youre looking for a reliable, detail-oriented contractor, I absolutely recommend them.

I had two teams: one to scrape the popcorn ceiling away and install knock-down texture (one day) and another team to paint the ceiling (another day). Both teams did were exceptional. I had 3 rooms with totally different knockdown texture that all merged and I really didn't think it was fixable. I was a bit surprised by the confidence of Southern Textures to fix it and make it un-noticeable. I was also impressed with the like-ability of the owner giving the quote which he gave from videos I sent him of my ceiling. I am extremely meticulous and these guys surpassed my expectations. They came on time, the quality was jaw dropping, the price was affordable for me on my nursing salary and they worked with me, finished the job ahead of time, cleaned up so well that I still can't find any mess left behind. They did so good that you really can't tell that it was ever three different textures and they covered the little cracks up there too. I had to leave this review because they deserve it. From the owner to the workers, I pray this company continues to prosper. If you happen to find this business then congrats, you can stop your search. I give my permission to this company to use any before/ after photos of the project they did at my house. I'm still in shock of the quality, price, and professionalism. They are serious about what they do

I had two projects for this business. The first one was patch a ceiling and paint it. That went pretty well, so I hired this business for a second project which was to paint my front door and sidelight, outside only. I was charged $600 for door only and they would get the correct paint. Long story short, could not get the correct paint through no fault of their own, but I hired them for their expertise because I know nothing about painting a front door with an aluminum sidelight. Also the stucco wall around door was supposed to be painted once I got the paint for that. The project was never completed after I contacted David to say I had the paint for the surrounding wall. The door was painted with a white paint that I had already purchased. Again, I am not an expert, this is why I hired someone to advise me on what is the correct paint to paint an exterior door with an aluminum sidelight. At one point I contacted David so they could come and finish the job and I was told Oh, I thought this job was finished. When I said it wasnt I was told that he would contact me with a date to return to finish the project. That was almost two years ago. Needless to say I never heard from this business again. $600 and maybe a year and a half, two years later the aluminum sidelight is peeling. I am sure the proper procedure and paint was not used to paint this door which is why I hired this company to begin with.

David and his team are absolutely amazing! We purchased a house and had Southern Textures come in and scrape all of our popcorn ceilings, texture the ceilings and upstairs walls, and paint the entire interior from walls, to doors, and even prep and paint new base. I was very impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. David worked with me to meet my schedule and make sure that the product that was delivered was as expected and that I was satisfied with the results. This is a 2400 square foot house under air, so it was not a small job by any stretch. I would highly recommend Southern Textures to anyone and will be using them again in the future. I just wanted to note that I also was mistakenly charged the deposit multiple times but received a refund for the error kid transactions. The owner assured me it was a payment processing issue and that as a result of this and other issues he switched to another processor while my job was ongoing. I fully believe it was a mistake and that this issue will not be repeated.

I spoke to David for a quote for my 1k sq ft project. I explained we needed taping, mudding & patching on the walls & ceilings in some rooms in addition to texture. After discussing some of the details of the project, he gave me a quote sight unseen. The quote was fair, and we scheduled a date for 5 days later. The crew headed by Chris was on time at the scheduled date. We went over the whole project when they arrived. Chris is personable and willing to listen to your concerns. The quality work performed exceeded my expectations and they were able to match the existing texture from another part of the house. When finished they removed and discarded all the plastic film covering windows & floors. I did not have to clean up after them. I had an AC duct leak in ceiling above my kitchen. Condensation was dripping into the ceiling and had to have a 4' x 10' section of the ceiling cut out, repair ductwork, and have new drywall installed and knocked down texture applied to the new section and painted.
