What an amazing task, to replace the Sheetrock which was removed for A/C repair. The wall and ceiling look like they did before being torn out. We had a residential project and came across Southern Paintings sign in the yard of someone in our neighborhood. They had the best discount at the time we hired them (after getting 3-4 other quotes), so we opted to hire them. Mark was our go-to contact for the North Austin area. We had the entire outside painted with a few repairs, stained shutters, painted all interior ceilings, trim, walls, stained our staircase, and primed and painted all newly renovated areas. They worked with us and our timeline (waiting on other projects to finish or gutters to arrive, electrician to finish over several months, etc.) and were not demanding about receiving payment prior to job completion. We did have to call them back several times to clean up paint off floors and touch up areas, and they returned quickly and at no extra cost. Our home buying and renovating timeline/process was really stressful, but Mark and his crew were very dependable and professional. I would hire them again for future projects.

Mark at Southern Painting was great and the painting crews did even better. I purchased a very run down home. It had a bad smell, clearly had been smoked in for years and just looked terrible. After Southern painted it, it's like a brand new house! Very pleased! Thanks!

I am very pleased by the interior painting work that was completed by Southern Painting for my home. The project required approximately two weeks to complete, and the paint crew consistently demonstrated a commitment to providing high-quality work, and they were very respectful of my home and belongings. They protected appliances, fixtures, etc. adequately, and they kept the work space clean throughout the effort. Brent, Freddy, and the crew left me with a revitalized home interior that can be enjoyed for years to come. I would not hesitate to reach out to Southern Painting again the next time that I need painting services.

What a great experience with Mark H and the Southern Painting team. They were fast, on time and did a perfect job painting. Also fun to work with. I had places that needed patching and then matching the paint, walls that were changing into a new dark color. Mark and Rene helped picked out new colors and were patient during the process. Highly recommend! I will be using them again.

they did an amazing job of painting my house, and fixing all of the 14 year old problems like Re Caulking, taking out old nails and screws. My house looks better than bran new.

A huge waste of time! The company was responsive at the beginning until the consultation and it all went downhill from there. Mark came for the consultation and the service was scheduled quickly. During the consultation he actually pointed out how straight the edges of our bedroom collar were so I figured they would match those finishes, not even close! We had some cracks to repair in a bedroom and living room and some patchwork on a bathroom wall. All but one of the repairs were done poorly, the paint in our bathroom was sloppy and the edges were not finished well at all. The bedroom was painted the original color rather than the color we wanted, and the repairs there are very noticeable. Mark actually came back to look at the poor work and admitted it needed to be redone. I refused to have the same crew do the work due to their unprofessional behavior and shoddy work so I was supposed to get a different crew last week, which never happened. Work was scheduled for today and they are a no show. Mark is now unresponsive. Save yourself the hassle and hire a different company.

We hired Southern Painting to paint the inside of our house and the trim on the outside to get it ready to sell. Mark was very prompt with coming to our house to give us a quote (which was extremely competitive) and they were able to start the job quickly. After the work was done there were a few minor touch-ups that needed be done, this was all taken care of quickly and to our satisfactions. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

This was the third time we used Southern Painting to paint the exterior of our home in the 24 years weve been here. Each time theyve painted it theyve done a great job. Hard to beat a nice freshly painted home with wood repairs done as required. Beautiful work.
