They did an amazing job repainting our space! The crew was professional, detail-oriented, and made sure everything looked perfect before wrapping up. Communication was smooth from start to finish, highly recommend them for any painting project.

- [ ] We hired Sinoda Painting last summer to paint the entire upstairs level of the house that we bought. He was recommended by an employee at Sherwin Williams. Due to the timing of when we were getting possession , timing of giving up possession of the house wed sold, and having our furniture moved, we had to have new carpet installed the day of possession. Sinoda was to start painting the following day. I communicated with the owner (Tony) prior to hiring him and well in advance of starting the job to ensure that he and his crew would cover/protect the floors when painting and that there would be no issues. He assured me that there would be no issues and that the carpet would be protected. Three people started the job. Each night they would leave the bathrooms upstairs a mess trash all over the counters and even diarrhea in the toilet twice. One day Walmart delivered an order to our porch, and we discovered that one of the guys had got in a bag and taken out flavored bottle water; not only did they drink them, but they left the empty bottles in the bathroom. When I brought this to the attention of Tony, he became very defensive and his entire demeanor changed from that point forward. He requested partial payment, and when I didnt Venmo him within the hour, I received a hateful text about how he had bills to pay and I needed to send the money; Id paid him two other increments prior to that as soon the request was sent. I just happened to be busy with my kids when he sent that particular request and he acted like we hadnt been paying him. The job was finished almost two weeks late. A few weeks after the job was done, I was moving furniture in my kids room to vacuum. The paint in the room is blue with a hint of gray. I realized there was a fairly large area of paint in the carpet. Due to the gray color of the carpet end the lighting in the room, I didnt notice it at first. It looked like someone had tried and failed to wipe it out. I texted Tony about it, sent pictures of the stains, and asked if he had insurance to cover it since its new carpet. His first response was that we had kids running around, a dog, and boxes. 1 my kids werent running around upstairs where they were painting. 2 the dog was crated or in a leash the entire time they were here and she WAS NEVER UPSTAIRS. 3- of course tere were boxes we were moving all of which had been discussed prior to him taking on the job. He said of course he did but that he uses Crystal Ball Carpet Cleaning and that they have a way to get paint out of carpet after its dried. Ive never heard of this but agreed that we could try that before carpet replacement/insurance. Weeks of trying to schedule this went by Tony would ignore my texts or come up with excuses constantly. I called Crystal Ball, and not only did the owner say hes never worked with Tony, but theres also no way to get dried paint out of carpet (surprise surprise). Tony no longer responds to my texts or calls. He is a completely unprofessional, dishonest person, and not anyone I would recommend for any job ever! Save yourself time, money, and frustration, and just find someone else for your painting needs. If you do hire him, I wouldnt leave him or his crew out of your sight and seriously who has time to babysit the painters youre paying your hard earned money to?? There are plenty of other trustworthy, honest companies out there. Learn from our mistake.

I've worked with a lot of painters and painting companies and I have to say that Sinoda Painting is the best I've ever worked with (professional, timely, communication, good suggestions and consultation) and the quality work speaks for itself. Truly impressed and it's nice to have a company you can rely on.

We first used Sinoda Painting around ten years ago and they just finished yet another job for us last week, so I guess that says a lot. They are so much more than a painting company. They removed the tile backsplash in our kitchen, the counter tops and the kitchen sink when we were doing some renovations. They drywalled where the tile was removed. They have repaired large holes cut in our ceiling by plumbers, replaced old screens on our porch and cleaned our gutters. There is no job too big or too small for them. We have had them paint the exterior of our home, our screened in porch, deck, fence and many, many rooms inside our house along with our kitchen table and chairs and a bench. They are fairly priced, courteous and do an excellent job

After seeing reviews here, I hoped for a good experience. Unfortunately that was not the case. I was told three different dates someone was coming out and each time, nobody showed up and there was no explanation given. When I called and emailed to find out when they were coming, I was met with hostility. I was trying to be reasonable with the person on the phone and explain that the last three dates had not been met and I wasn't given a reason for the no shows. He became even more hostile and arrogant and I finally had to tell him that I would just find someone else to do the work. I hope others have a better experience, but wanted to share mine here.
