Shamrock Painting did a great job on the interior of my mother's 3-bedroom house in Riverdale, which I have been preparing to put on the market. Kevin and his team did an outstanding job repairing the walls and ceilings - there was decades worth of peeling paint, staples and nails, holes, tape and glue, water damage and other stains everywhere - and repainting them. They did not take any shortcuts and were highly professional in their tools, materials and techniques, and in communications about the work. Now the walls and ceilings are perfect and the house looks really good! Moreover, their price was extremely reasonable. Shamrock Painting has my highest recommendation.

He was able to deal with cracks and other cosmetic defects that had developed in the walls over the years I'd lived there, and the walls were in perfect condition by the time he was done. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

It is hard to find a professional person who does wallpapering. I wanted to hang wallpaper in the kitchen, so I had to find someone who knew how to hang if for that particular area. Prior to hiring Kevin, I searched and the closest I got was a handyman who said that he could do it, but it was not his expertise. I was lucky to find Kevin who gave a price point over the phone. Although he had to complete the job in two days, instead of one, it was because he made sure the wall was primed/painted the way it needed to be, before hanging the wallpaper (eg. he did not cut corners). There also was no bait and switch with the price because the cost was what he quoted on the phone. If I need to wallpapering again, I will reach out to Shamrock Painting & Wallpapering.

Kevin did an excellent job, even though the job was a small one. The room needed a lot of spackling and repair. Kevin was meticulous with his sanding and preping the room and closet, so the painting went quickly. He was very careful not to get any paint on my carpet. He arrived on time and quietly worked very hard all day long. He was very professional and vacuumed up after himself. He left my place spotless. While Kevin was not the least expensive painter I considered, he was worth every penny.

The wallpaper was difficult to remove but Kevin and his crew were able to do so successfully, and plaster over areas that needed repair. The walls were then painted and look beautiful. I found that I needed to add molding and Kevin was able to connect me with an excellent carpenter who completed the job in a timely and professional manner.

The job went very well. We originally estimated a 3 day job, but Kevin was able to do the job in only two. I even had to change the scope to include the ceiling during the job and not only was his rate fair, he was still able to finish ahead of schedule. This job was very straightforward, so can't say that every job will be as fast, but my experience was positive. The paint looks good, no drips or splotches and he left the work space clean.

Kevin did an EXCELLENT job for the most reasonable price. Kevin was much less than of any other wallpaper installers I interviewed. The wallpaper pattern was not an easy one and Kevin matched the seams perfectly. The walls were far from perfect and Kevin took the time to smooth them out before starting. He was very good on text and the telephone throughout the installation. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking to wallpaper!! He does a GREAT JOB!!
