We have a really old house. We were so impressed with how they were able to work around lumpy studs and make everything look straight even though the house is not straight at all! There were a few rooms where we were planning to do moulding around the ceiling where the original wallpaper met the new ceiling, so we said they didn't have to be careful about clean lines, but the lines looked so good anyway that we never bothered with the moulding. They weren't the cheapest option at the time, but we were always glad we went with them, and now that everyone else's prices are going up so much, theirs are very competitive.

Good manners and politeness doesn't make up for the aftermath of the job done on our laundry room extension off the kitchen. Drop cloths, or covering of ANY type, were NOT put down while the drywall finishing, specifically sanding, was being done. Needless to say, the dust went everywhere inside our kitchen area, and on the garage side, now covers everything there. It might be a garage but is also our storage area while renovations are going on. The most aggravating part is the new tiled floor inside the laundry extension. It wasn't covered and the dark brown gout used is now gray with drywall dust, which will require cleaning to hopefully restore the color. All if this could have been avoided with the use of coverings on the floor, counters and stacked items. I consider it an extension of work equipment and should not be up to the customer to tell someone doing this job to make sure to take care of covering surfaces.
