I hired Mr. Julio and the SantyValor team to remove popcorn ceiling on the entire second story of my home and paint several closets. This included removing popcorn ceiling from my foyer, which is 2 stories high. This was the most complicated part of the job, but SantyValor made sure to do it right. Their price was competitive and fair. Mr. Julio communicated with me every step of the way. He was responsive and attentive to all my questions and concerns. His team was kind, respectful, trustworthy, punctual, and hardworking. They protected all workspaces and cleaned up after themselves each day. We initially met two weeks ago where he inspected the whole home and broke down the process from taking down our popcorn ceilings to putting up the knockdown and painting. Presently, we're having our house repainted to erase the original work done by Santy Valor. While we did not directly hire this Santy Valor (our general contractor did), I am sure it was probably by way of a low bid. Flashing on multiple walls, brush strokes and uneven surfaces on door and window trims, single coats (vs. double), no primer used on many surfaces, and paint splatter on windows and glass...the list goes on. Just very sloppy, subpar work that even visitors to our home noticed without being solicited. Do your homework, folks, hire right, and get a list of and call their referrals! I strongly recommend against hiring Santy Valor unless you want to do it twice!
