We recently hired Parlor City to take on a very tedious staining project: The Pergola over the top of our Gold Fish Pond, with waterfall feature. We are absolutely THRILLED with the outcome, The care and attention to detail on this project was beyond our expectations. They did a fantastic job of protecting the pond during the staining process, the entire structure was hand stained, they did not use a sprayer. We will definitely call Parlor City again for our next project!

The father and son team that came to do the work were very skilled, professional, neat and courteous. They did an awesome job. The difference in the room is amazing! I recently used parlor city to fix a hole in my ceiling and repaint it. I would say the work overall was good. They did get some paint on the walls in several spots that I had to touch up. My biggest issue was communication. We agreed to a certain day to start the job and I took off the morning from work and no show. I had to call and the receptionist did not have any information. Then over the next 1-2 weeks similar instances would happen and I would always have to call to see where they were. They really need to let the customer know if something pops up.

We requested an estimate for window replacement. It was easy to contact the company and schedule the estimate, but then it was all downhill. The person who came out to do the estimate never entered the house, just walked around the house to view the windows. He also never sent an estimate.

We hired Parlor City to do a re-do of our main living area. It included redoing all the drywall, painting, applying shiplap on a feature wall and constructing 2 large beams for the ceiling. We're very happy with the finished product, especially with the wooden beams. All of the workers were attentive to details and to our wishes, especially the carpenter, Chris, who is a fine craftsman. The only issue we had was that due to some scheduling problems, the project went on a little longer than expected. We would definitely hire Parlor City for any jobs in the future!

We hired Marc and Parlor City Construction to enlarge our living room, by installing a LVL beam in the ceiling, replacing/rerouting electric outlet, reworking our floor to match and drywall and plaster our entire living room ceiling. The job was completed very professionally, on time service and at a reasonable cost. Each and every employee of Parlor City Construction was professional, congenial and trustworthy. We will in the future be hiring Parlor City Construction for further remodeling of our home.

We used Parlor City a few years ago when we updated our living room and bath. When we recently planned to update our stairway and hall they were the only contractor we called. While not a large area, it contained 5 doorways and high walls. Fussy work. They made it look great. Craftsmen were very particular with finished look. Friendly guys, too. We are very happy with it.
