We recently collaborated with Mike and the Paint Paper & Panel team on a hotel design and refurbishment project in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Working with Mike was a real pleasure. As the GC he was cool, calm and collected. He was available 24/7 and a pleasure to work with on what could have been a difficult project. His team were hardworking and efficient. They were also fun to be around which can make all the difference on a project of this size. We completed the project on time and under budget with fantastic looking rooms. What more can you ask for?

We are very happy with the job that Paint Paper and Panel did. The entire process from estimate to completion was seamless and communication was great. We had them paint all of our ceilings and the walls in the living spaces of our home. The crew was very neat and efficient! We will definitely call them again when we are ready for our next project.

Mike and his team did a fabulous job on our new moldings. We had two bland walls that needed some dimension. The picture frame moulding more than did the trick. First let me say that I could have done this project myself but decided to let someone else do it saving me weeks of time and some self inflicted frustration. So I decided to go out and hire someone to do the project. When reviewing companies I often check out the company. Who owns it, small or large and is there hands on effort by the owners. Mike, the owner, is very hands on which has made the experience very comfortable and reassuring. My Project -- We installed pine board trim on a two story accent wall which required painting the two story wall and installing all the trim on the wall based on our design. The second part of the project was installing formal trim on the dining room ceiling and painting the ceiling an accent color. Quoting Process -- To get a quote you simply log into their website to request a quote and instantly set up an appointment. Pick the day and time and answer a few questions about your project. Within a few hours I got a text confirming the appointment. At the appointment, Mike came and listened to what we wanted to do. In many cases, companies try to "fit" you into what they are good at or simply don't even have a dialog about your project. Mike however, listens to your needs and talks through construction and design options. We changed some things about our project because of his design suggestions and kept others. Within a few days, we received a text to review our quote which was very detailed. And fairly priced. Simply signed the quote online and sent a deposit. A note about deposits: Unfortunately in today's world of contractor scammers, I am always worried about giving a large 50% deposit. But in this case after research on the company and Mike, it was clear that it was a safe thing to do. Project Work -- The work was schedule to start within a week which is saying a lot. It is difficult to get a quote within a week let alone a project started within a week of signature. They arrived on the first day with ALL the materials they needed. So there was no worry about getting halfway through and getting delayed because of missing materials. The crew were all very friendly and professional at their jobs. They were very clean during work hours and at the end of the day, everything was cleaned up and put away. An absolutely great crew. No project is completely without issues and we had a couple of small ones. Mike was always available to address the issues without any delays. In one case, a part of the job required moving a couple of outlets. The effort didn't require as much work as thought, Mike proactively lowered the rate for that effort. That has never happened. The project was completed after a week of work and we were ready for the final walkthrough. The quality of the work was excellent. Final Walkthrough -- For some, this part of the project can be very awkward and stressful. Let's face it, you just paid someone a considerable amount of money and you see some flaws but you're uncomfortable with addressing them so you just say, looks good. Mike made this easy for us to mention some items we had concerns with by identifying a couple for us. This opened the door for us to easily and comfortably mention our concerns. Mike addressed the issues the same day and we are very happy with the results. Summary -- I'm sure this sounds like nothing went wrong and everything was perfect. If you have any project like this, there is always something that needs attention. We were not immune to that. What this review is trying to say, Mike really cares about his business and more importantly his customers. He understands that if he takes care of his customers in a fair and prompt way, the business will come. It's really not so much about the issues, it is more about, how does the company address those issues. Do they listen to your concerns, do they respond promptly and fair. I think you will find that Paint, Paper and Panel will do just that which is why we gave Mike and his team 5 stars.

Mike was fantastic to work with on home upgrades that involved paint and wallpaper in a few different areas. He was prompt to respond to my initial inquiry, provided a transparent quote for services, provided great communication and support for final selections of paint and wallpaper, and confirmed the exact date/time of arrival. He and his crew worked quickly, with care for our home, and cleaned up each evening before leaving. They were dedicated and diligent. I am already planning our next project!

Mike and his team of professional craftsmen performed excellent work for us on our basement, upstairs office and foyer wallpaper project. Creating both built-in cabinetry and decorative wood trim, the attention to detail from his carpentry team was meticulous. Painting the finished product was performed by his talented team of painters while his wallpaper pros completed a great job despite having to work around some complex woodwork. Each one of his teams were professional, exceptionally talented, courteous and maintained and clean work environment during and at the conclusion of the project. I think the attached pictures prove these points. Mike really knows how to run a customer-centric business and we look forward to having his team engaged in future projects.

I am a 3rd Generation Residential Contractor, so I've seen and done a thing or two in my 35+ years in this industry. Wallpaper is my weakness and that's where these guys come in. Mike and his team do an awesome job!! Mike is super easy to work with, reasonable cost wise, and very derail oriented. Weve used them for cabinet painting, wallpaper and molding/trim work. All of it was top notch. Already have follow up projects planned!
