I've been a paint it right customer for several years. What started off as a great painting company has quickly fallen. To be clear - Zach the painter is excellent. Unfortunately, as the team and business has grown, the rest of the painting quality has suffered. Damaged house hold items, lack of follow up, and constant "fixes" are now the norm for this business. I would not hire paint it right unless you want to have a job completed and then have them come back numerous times to address issues...and then deal with excuses and blame for their issues.

I wanted to take the time to write a review over my situation after just deleting my previous one. I had an issue with an employee that Zach (the owner) had just hired. Craig, the new estimator, came out to quote me and pulled some shady stuff on both the owner Zach and I. He took $1000 for me and I was unaware that he was doing this behind Zach's back. Needless to say, once I brought it to the attention of Zach, he was as shocked as me. He immediately came out on a Saturday, the following day, to go over quote with me. He refunded the money and i will be pursuing legal action against him. This is a VERY reputable company I can assure you. I also am confident they would do a great job painting but I decided to go with a friend who owns a paint company to help me for what I cannot paint. After this bizarre situation I went through this week I can confirm the owner cares about his customers and the integrity of his company. I do not blame him at all for any of this but the painter/estimator named Craig Nicolia for being shadY, for stealing business from Paint it Right without the customer or company knowing, and then running with the money. Thanks again Zach and Painter it Right for clearing this up immediately.

Excellent company! Very responsive and always checking in with me to see how the job was going. My house is 101 years old and has the original siding. So it had been painted over several times with no prep work prior to this paint job. They took their time washing, scraping and painting. Everybody was very friendly. Timely service. Review edited after finally a response by Paint it Right: Initially a 1 star review with frustration due to dark paint spilled on my carpet in multiple locations in my house with multiple calls to Paint it Right with no follow up. They offered some monetary compensation which was enough to cover one professional cleaning for the stains, but it didn't work and they are set into my carpet after the painter rubbed it in to try and clean the mistake. From a time standpoint, an estimated one day project turned into a 4 day project for 1 room (walls only) and 1 accent wall to be painted. There was evidence of the painter washing their brush materials in my bathroom sinks which is not great for the plumbing. In the end, the walls are painted but the execution of the project was disappointing.

Amazing company. Our painter was fantastic. We have an old home and not 1950s old but late 1800s old. So lots of uneven walls, unique textures and trim, etc. the place was left spotless, we barely knew the painter was there and she went the extra mile. I would use them again and highly recommend them. Price was very competitive.

Britany's team did a great job making a new place feel like home. They were tidy, kept to schedule without rushing, and communicated well where needed. The team members worked well together, providing support in tricky areas where needed. The quote also took care of touchups (a few minor ceiling spots) that other agencies glossed over. At every step, I was left with the sense that they cared about a job done well.

Where do I even start...Paint It Right subcontracts their jobs, and the only reason our project got done well was because of Spencer, the subcontractor assigned to us. He was absolutely amazing to work with professional, honest, and hardworking. Honestly, if it werent for him, we likely wouldnt have been updated at all. However, the experience with the actual company was a mess. We were quoted a certain amount of paint, but ended up needing 45 additional gallons. On the very first day, Spencer let us know the estimate was way off, so I immediately called Chris, the estimator. Straight to voicemail. Then I called Zach, the owner voicemail again. I left messages for both. Throughout the process, I called Chris three more times no answer, no return call. Eventually he claimed he called my husband, which never happened. I was the one making the calls, trying to find out how much this surprise extra cost was going to be. They only returned my call after the job was finished. Also worth noting: their invoices state you get $10 off for every review you leave so take all those glowing reviews with a grain of salt. Im so glad we got to work with Spencer, though hes no longer with them no surprise given the runaround they put him through. Bottom line: would not hire again.

This was our second time using Paint It Right, and we continue to be happy with their work! This time around, we needed basically our entire house painted. Zach came out quickly after contacting them to give us an estimate, and they were very flexible about finding a start date that best fit our schedule. Ken was assigned to our project, and he did a fantastic job! To be honest, we weren't sure how well one person was going to manage what we felt like was a large project (that included mudding and painting a 3-car garage in addition to the rest of the house), but he handled it all efficiently, professionally, and carefully. From the start, he was a great communicator and extremely detail oriented, which we really appreciated. On more than one occasion, he spent extra time perfecting particularly tricky drywall repairs, making sure to get it done right and to our satisfaction. Overall, we had a positive experience and are very happy with how everything turned out. Big thanks to Ken for all his hard work and for making the process as smooth as possible!

Absolute NIGHTMARE experience with this company when they painted the exterior of my rental house in fall 2024. Crews were incompetent, dishonest, and one foreman was stoned. They barely prepped the house before applying a thick coat of paint during high humidity a few hours before heavy rain. They didnt prime bare wood, remove peeling paint or caulk anywhere. In areas that should have been scrapped, I was able to peel off the new blue paint and old white paint to reveal wood in many spots after they had painted. You can see a few examples of their work in the photos. They came back (after I said not to come back on my property) and simply applied another layer of blue paint without any primer. They got paint on the patio, porch and my tenants belongs. The company finally sent out Ken to do a cleanup job and he was professional and reliable, but this was after weeks of stress and hassle, which was not what I needed while nearing the end of a pregnancy. Zach, the owner, was not responsive and I mostly heard from him when he wanted to be paid. He offered me $200 off which is laughable given that I ended up having to take nearly a week off of work to oversee the crews to make sure they werent damaging things. If I hadnt been monitoring and advocating for myself, I would have ended up with a terrible quality job. I am still not sure how long this paint will last given that it was applied to wet wood.
