Unethical and Predatory pricing and poor judgmentAVOID. I am writing this to warn others: do not use this service unless you want to be severely overcharged. A handyman was called by my tenant to fix a hot water issue along with two minor household repairs (locks and closets). He charged me nearly $2,300 for a half-day of work, with $1,500 for labor alone. To make matters worse, instead of recommending a replacement for the aging water heater, he "repaired" it for a cost that would have easily covered a brand-new unit. A new unit would have also come with a full manufacturers warranty, whereas I now have a massive bill for an old tank that could fail again tomorrow. This shows a complete lack of integrity and a focus on short-term profit over the customer's best interest. He took advantage of the situation and my tenants urgency. Find someone honest instead.

While Norm was a very nice person to deal with, he failed to find the actual problem with my garage door opener. He stated that the opener was broken and needed to be replaced but in actuality a couple of wires came loose in the junction box that the opener pulled it power from. Once I reconnected, door opener now functions properly and without issue.

Our handyman Alex always came to our home with a smile and answers to all of my questions. We needed a new custom shower door installed, grout redone, broken floor tiles replaced, a new counter in the childrens bathroom installed, a light installed, some closet doors fixed, and one closet door completely changed out. There was some lagtime when we were waiting for custom shower doors getting done and shipped by the manufacturer, but that felt normal. After the work was finished, there was a leak from the newly installed faucets, and Alex came the next day to figure it out. The great thing is the company guarantees its work, so follow-up visits dont cost you. Another great thing is that I had been looking for someone to handle all of these little fixes for quite a whileand My Handyman (Alex) started the day after I called!

Loved this service! Giancarlo was a great technician. Provided us with excellent information that will help us intelligently plan our future home improvement projects. He educated us on the breadth of services My Handyman provides. Happy that we will not need to contact as many other service providers as we had thought! My Handyman takes care of a lot! No more issues assembling bookshelves I bought on Etsy, and no more issues with toilet paper or towel racks falling out of the bathroom wall! Love that there is a 1 year warranty on services/repairs provided 🙂 impressed!

I had a TV hung on the wall by a My Handyman technician and he did an excellent job. He was very friendly and professional, wore shoe covers in the house, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was measured and hung exactly where we wanted it. I had a slight miscommunication with the scheduling team so the job was done a day later than expected, but excellent quality work and it was easy to get ahold of their customer support and scheduling team when I had questions.

Wonderful experience! Giancarlo was amazing I dreaded having my ceiling cracks repaired due to the dust. He did three ceiling repairs in one day and little dust. I had removed most everything from the rooms and it was not needed. He covered the floors and furniture and had all three ceilings completed and primed within 6 hours and cleaned up! Thank you so much for a wonderful job Giano!!

Our experience with Mr. Handyman was all positives. Justine showed up exactly on time, already had the list of what we wanted done, we filled in some details and he went to work. Nothing too major--some painting, some carpentry, fixing the door on a TV cabinet. All was done quickly, efficiently and very competently. Justin was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again if we need more work done.
