Mr Handyman did a great job repairing my outdoor railing and a towel rack. The handyman was professional and answered all of my questions. The office staff is also very helpful. Most phone calls are answered when I call, and any missed phone calls are returned very promptly.

Steve S did a great job with the closet in my craft room. A plumbing issue in the kitchen necessitated getting to the pipes through the closet wall, which meant some drywall and flooring repair. Steve was a pro - he answered all of my questions about the project, walked me through the plan to get everything put back to rights and was very upfront about the charges. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll be calling Mr. Handyman again for jobs around the house that I don't have the skill or experience to do on my own. 15/10 would recommend!

Charged over $800 for one person and 2 hours of work, no materials required. Taskrabbit had someone do similar work for around 1/10th the price. ONE TENTH. Admitted to accidentally adding hundred of dollars to the bill, only after I called them out. Ripoff. Will never use again. Scott Lorenz specifically.

The gentleman was professional and friendly. Completely happy with the work he did. However, the price was OUTRAGEOUS! He replaced a few lightbulbs and a doorbell. Hung 3 pictures. You charge a very high fixed fee to change a lightbulb. If the SAME fixture needs two lightbulbs, the price is DOUBLED! RIDICULOUS!! For the time he spent here to do these very simple tasks, the price worked out to be about $250/hour. I will NOT be recommending this service to anyone. I will NOT be calling again.

I had to replace my mailbox after someone accidentally ran up onto my lawn. This happened on Thursday afternoon and Mr Handyman had a tech at my house by 8a on Friday. Tom was punctual, friendly and skilled. I decided to replace the post too since I had noticed it was a bit loose and aged. I had picked one up at the store but was disappointed that it was a red cedar (the regular pine post only had one left and it was cracked). I mentioned to Tom I wasnt crazy about the color. Tom had a solution for me, and now I love the new post and mailbox. I will use Mr Handyman again and will request Tom for any future handyman needs.

Terrible service and never offered an option to replace the mailboxes post with the same material they removed which was a steel post. They did the work with no communication or options to replace with a new steel post. Only doing the work taking it upon their own to replace the steel post with a wooden post. Requested ahead to make sure the Handyman called me and the only option was discussing things with a call center. Do not use them unless you like a surprise and no options of replacing with the same materials you had before.

I had a Pella sliding door that was binding and jumping off track. The tech, Curtis, showed up on time and went right to work. He found a bad frozen caster. He went to his truck and somehow he found a pair that would work. He installed both on my request and my door is Better than New. I try to ONLY work with Local shops that employ their own people and that's Mr. Handyman. Thank You

Scott from Mr. Handyman was fantastic at repairing some damaged wood slats in my basement floor. I had contacted a few other handyman services, and no one had the expertise to repair flooring, but Scott had no issue. Plus the communication was great. Was consistently informed when he would arrive.

Had someone come out to our business to give us a quote on some cabinet repair. Was told as clear as day that it would be right around $75 for the quote, and if they did the work same day there would be no charge for the quote. Gentleman came, looked at the cabinets, told me they were beyond repair and charged me $160+ dollars. Was pretty frustrated, but the GM called me shortly after and made it right, which is much appreciated. I'll try them again in the future. Also, The guy who came out (Bart) was very kind and knowledgeable.

Mr. Handyman was very helpful and communicative starting with the first phone call I made to discuss my issue/project. They were willing to help with an issue that many others have not been able to. My bathroom pipes were freezing within an inner wall between my condo and my neighbors. Bartlomiej was on time and communicative the whole day while he worked on the project. What I thought would be a multiday project was completed in one day! The insulation he added looks great and the clean up was very well done. You could not even tell the wall was taken down. With the past few below zero days I have had no issues with freezing pipes! Problem solved!

The first handy man that was sent out clearly didn't want to be at my house. He talked down to me when i was showing him the dryer vent was and said that wasn't a dryer vent. After showing him my list he said he'd work on the quote and told me he couldn't do any of the items on my list. I honestly almost decided to not call to have someone else come out. I'm very very pleased with Tom! If Tom had came out first this review would have been 5 stars. Tom was engaged asking questions about the projects and did a phenomenal job on the ones we had him do. We still have a few projects left, but as soon as we get our supplies in we are definitely calling and asking for Tom to come back out!

I am thrilled with the result of calling Mr. Handyman! The project was done with quality, efficiency and clear communication. My bathroom ceiling was separating from the drywall. Had a great experience with Thomas Kissee from here. Fixed my cedar fence that a tree came through and replaced one of the support posts, very professional and high-quality work. Even oiled my garage door chain and springs without any request, garage opens and closes silently now. 10/10 would recommend Tom to anybody.

John was exceptional! He worked extremely hard to properly hang a swing on our porch. It was not an easy task as we have intricate wood paneling on the ceiling of the porch. John was able to suspend the swing sturdily, while keeping the integrity of the porch structure. He put in the swing and had added new paneling after securing, which matches the old paneling in the rest of the porch areas which we were really hoping for overall. Overall my husband and I are very pleased with this work and Johns talent!
