This company is great to work with. The office staff are very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. I have had them come to my house twice. Once to install a dog door through the wall and another to install safety bars in the bathroom. Eric was my installer. He is very professional and very proficient at his work. He was respectful of my property. He did not make a big mess and left nothing for me to clean up at all. He was friendly and did not waste any time doing unnecessary tasks or spending time on the phone. I will use Mr Handyman again and again, and I will always ask for Eric as I know he does a fantastic job!!

Two scheduled appointments were missed without any prior communication from the technician. Due to the lack of reliability, I had to find another provider and cannot assess the quality of their work. The owner claims that it was an emergency, however there was absolutely no communication that there was an issue meeting the appointment window. When I requested updates it was only then that they responded that the technician would be there as soon as they could. There was no proactive communication that could have saved people time and effort. Be aware of this, know that you will have to mange upward if you work with this company.

We are in the process of moving so naturally we needed a handyman to patch things up here and there. We were warmly greeted by handyman Shane at our place here in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Shane did a spectacular job patching some areas that were uneven before we moved here, taking down curtains, and repairing a gash on the corner of one of the walls in the garage. He was patientnot rushing the job. He took his time to get the job done right. He cleaned up behind himself, and he checked with us to make sure we were satisfied. I must say, he had the most pleasant personality and disposition. We felt comfortable having him address house related tasks. I would easily recommend this company to others. I am sure all of the handymen for this company are excellent. But we can only speak for Shane. And the recipient of Mr. Handymans service will be ultra lucky if he shows up at that door.

We worked with Josh and Shane to complete a chandelier installation job in Mapleton. They were professional, skilled and hard-working through the process. They constructed a box for the chandelier, repaired drywall the electricians cut up, and did matching mud texture and paint, leaving the repairs unnoticeable. I would highly recommend Mr. Handyman of South Salt Lake, Utah and Wasatch Counties for any handyman service you can think of.

During an inspection while selling a property, two GFCI outlets failed to trip, and the buyers wanted a professional to replace them. Shane from Mr Handyman was able to replace these quickly and without issue.

We had Josh come in and install some ceiling fans, and a large picture. We dont have the knowledge or equipment to install these ourselves. In less than 2 hours he had not only the ceiling fans installed but the picture as well. We couldnt ask for better service! We will definitely use their services again, and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their help. I swear they can do anything..

Shane tried really hard to replace my waterline to my fridge. He did everything he could think of how to get the line through all the insulation in between the floor and the ceiling in the basement, without tearing down the drywall. I decided I didn't want my drywall to be torn down, so my solution was to not to have water and ice in my fridge. Thank you Shane for trying so hard to get me ice and water to my fridge!!

If I could go lower than a 1 Star Review I would. I had Mr. Handyman (specifically technician Josh) out to my business twice for two different projects. The first project was to remove a wall in an office no more than 8 feet in length. They contacted me weeks later saying the project was greater than the team could handle at this time. They told me to use a different company. Trying to give them the business, I asked them for another quote that started early November 2025.... this project again just needed a wall removed, a door removed/ put a wall up in it's place and extend a wall about 4 feet. I just received a text and phone call from them today (12/22/25) saying the same exact thing. Their service professional has recommended them to not move forward with this extent of a commercial project. They believe the extent would be greater than they can handle as a team right now. They recommend me moving forward with another company. This is now the second time this company has done this to me. They clearly do not want any business nor have the team that knows how to knock down a few walls. How hard is it to knock down a wall? I am shocked they have a 4.9 review, it boggles my mind. If these projects were out of their scope and couldn't knock down walls, the technician should have said it right from Day 1. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Not sure how they stay in business. The countless times I have gone back and forth over the phone/ text messages of me waiting week after week and month after month for a simple quote for these projects just for them to say, sorry we can't do this work..... horrible communication on their part. Do yourself a favor and reach out to other companies for your construction needs.

Scott came out and patiently walked through my home letting me point out all the little and big areas that needed a handymans work. Then he got started working right away and asked me to call the office to reschedule the items he needs to come back in order to finish. He also recommended I go to Home Depot or Lowes to buy needed supplies because if he does it they have to upcharge me. So I was happy to know that. Thank you Scott!
