EDIT: Three years later, and they continue to ignore my complaints. They started three projects, didn't finish any of them, and charged my CC for $5800. To rub salt in the wound, they continue spamming me with stupid e-mails asking if I want more incompleted projects. I've unsubscribed at least 20 times and they don't honor that. These people are criminals. You can bet that all these 5-star reviews are paid shills. They don't finish what they start and they won't take accountability. Original review: We had three disconnected projects. 1. The roofer removed the front skylights and we needed the holes and water damage patched on the inside. 2. The same for the back skylights, but it included repairing the wall below the skylights, so new siding and paneling. 3. Paint two sides of the garage. They patched the front skylights, but only repaired part of the water damage to the ceiling. The last layer of plaster they left unsanded, so it's not paint-ready. And in fact, the whole thing will have to be redone so that the rest of the water damage can be repaired. They started patching the back skylights, but when they got into the wall, they found rotten wood and declared the project was too hard for them, we needed a "real" contractor. At this point they left. They didn't even start the painting. There was no reason not to finish the front skylights. There was no reason not to do the painting. Those two projects were far away from the back skylights. But somehow the back wall being too damaged meant that they couldn't paint or sand plaster in the front. Then they charged my credit card $5800. It cost me $5800 to not have a single thing completed. There was even a charge for "debris removal" and they left a giant black plastic bag full of debris in my yard. I've sent them 3 complaints. A couple weeks after the first complaint, someone came around and picked up the black plastic bag. I was told that the bill for $5800 was computed based on the time the crew spent. So it looks like I paid a good amount of money for a crew to stand around staring at a rotted wall and complaining that the project was too difficult. There has been no response from the second two complaints. Well, they do continue to spam my e-mail with offers to come and rip me off again.

Scheduling was very easy. Jerry did a great job installing the grab bars in our bathroom. He discussed placement with me and then completed the job in a neat and timely manner. I will call Mr. Handyman again in the future.

I couldnt have been more satisfied with the work performed by Jeremiah. I only wish that I had used Mr Handymans services for past projects. Mr Handyman is by far the best company I have ever had do work for me.

William arrived on time and started on the job immediately. The job was to remove 6 of my old shutters and replace. Though one set of my purchased shutters were discovered unusable once the box was opened, William did as much as he could with what was available. Once the newly reordered shutters arrive next week, Im requesting the same handyman to return to complete the job. William was polite, personable and very knowledgeable.

I needed some help constructing some boxed furniture. I chose this company because of their yelp reviews. My construction professional came out went right to work and worked swiftly and made our furniture look absolutely beautiful, photo ready! He didnt try to make things longer to charge more. He truly did the best work to our benefit, not to the companys benefit, however, doing a good job is to the companys benefit, he did not try to overcharge us at all. I will definitely be calling this company with all my needs. I highly recommend them.

Excellent service. I highly recommend. I had someone come out and fix a shower shelf that another handyman from another company who did a horrible job. This company has excellent service and he replaced the shelf and installed a new one and it looks better than the original. If you want something done right call these people.

This company has absolutely horrible customer service. Communication with management to resolve an issue is non existent. They have no sense of customer service skills. Had to file a BBB complaint just to get my issue addressed because they refused to accept fault. Edit (after response): If being a difficult customer is requesting a quote BEFORE the work was completed, than that I am guilty of. I requested a 50% discount on the service charge for you to come back out to mount the TV. The simple fact of the matter is, I asked you if you provided the mount (I was clearly skeptical because earlier in the messaged you communicated material costs were extra), the moment the techs got here they should have just said, oh ok lets quote all the work since we are here. That did not happen. You agreed to quote the work before it was completed because the only thing I was for sure that I wanted done was to mount the TV. You are the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. My reviews of your company have been nothing but honest. I never refused to pay, I wanted a discount on the service charge for repeat business. You clearly do not care about repeat business because not for 1 second did we feel like our business was even wanted. I was not difficult with the techs at all. The issue is with you and you alone. Not one time did I ever raise my voice, I clearly stated that you did not communicate the ask to the techs.

We received an estimate for a range of house projects that was easily 4-5x what everyone else quoted. Deeply strange. Asking $550 to replace a single bathroom exhaust fan that's already been vented - and doesn't even include the cost of the new fan - is just insane.

Hired Mr. Handyman to remove a large, wooden playground in my backyard. Got a price quote that beat three other handyman companies. Scheduled right away, arrived right on time, did a superb job, cleaned up and hauled off everything AND didnt tear up my yard even though it was soaked from a ton of rain. Andy was polite, professional and thorough. Communication for scheduling, arrival and payment was excellent. I am looking for more projects around here just so I can hire them again!
