Handyman repaired lock on garage door and applied materials to secure it from moisture and air. He also repaired the concrete inside. He was very efficient and friendly. I will certainly call Mr. Handyman again and tell my neighbors about your service.

To begin, I had multiple projects to be done. On one of them i was supposed to have an estimate within a week. And after a few weeks i called and was told i had not received it because the technician was out sick. Also when i had drywall replaced in my sitting area i was advised the new paint would match the rest of the wall, which it didnt. I also located new damage to the drywall that was already there. When the time came to put my shower stall in the pan they ordered was damaged making them reschedule for the following week, after I had already scheduled off work. When my shower stall was put in I was advised ahead of time there would be a door, which there was not. Also after leaving I noticed the shower stall wall at the bottom that is held together by a screw and adhesive was coming apart that same day before it was even used.

If I could give zero stars I would! Unfortunately I had to pick a service we received to write this review but the truth is we havent received nothing but a runaround from this company. This will be reported to the BBB and See you in court!

After cancelling on me twice, the handymen arrived at my home. Two of the three handymen were very helpful, polite and efficient; however, there was one handyman I was not happy with from the beginning. He had a 'Can't do' attitude instead of a 'Can do' one.

I needed a mailbox and post repaired as it was in near falling down stage. My tech, Justin, came by and had everything fixed and secured in about ten minutes. Justin was also very friendly and professional. Be advised that the minimum rate for a job is $200, it would be more cost effective if you have more than one job that needed to be done. I will certainly keep that in mind the next time I need this company's services. I would definitely use them again.

Our dreams of an automated home addition were shattered when a rogue contractor abandoned the project leaving exposed wood and an unstable structure, also a complicated computerized lighting system requiring programming was ignored. Our addition became a nightmare, as well as a property liability rather than an appreciation. Two independent handymen wouldnt take the job. We contacted Handyman of Metro East who offered a reasonable restoration plan. Project completed in two days as planned. Two guys well appointed, intelligent and knowledgeable with I can fix that attitudes. Arrived on time, finished on time. I will definitely have them back and highly recommend.

Absolutely horrible! We made an appointment with Mr Handyman for today; we were told that they would arrive between 9am and 9:30am, and that we would receive a text if the ETA changed. No one arrived, we received no text, and we've been calling the office every 5 minutes for THREE HOURS (starting at 10am and it is now 1pm), hoping to get an update on when they would arrive -- no one is picking up the phone and they haven't returned our calls or messages!! Tldr: stood us up for our scheduled appointment and now aren't answering the phones or following up with us at all! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! 0 OUT OF 10!!

Way over priced . If they think they can get you they will . Priced me almost 3 grand for 2 sheets of dry wall on a bare wall and i said i will paint and mud my self. Buying at home depot 20 bucks a sheet and a small bucket of fast dry mud 15 bucks 5 bucks for a box of dry wall screws total 60 bucks even with mark up and labor . I called around a contractor in collinsville said hell do it for 600 and hell mud it and paint it. Dont trust anyone in a shinny truck is my advice. I bought the parts from home depot they delivered to my house that day and boom i installed and mudded myself. 30 minutes. The lady that runs there counter told me they dont have a hourly labor rate its industry standard pricing. Were is that Beverly Hill cali.. i bet they prey on older people. But not me. I paid the 60 dollar fee for them to come out and try a hustle on me. I have a picture of there estimate. Over 2800 is way to much and there step down in price to 2200 was even worst. Dont get tricked buy shinny truck installers. I can understand 600 to 1500 at max. But another contractor said 600 for 2 sheets install was way better than mr handy.

Dontez came exactly on time and diagnosed the problems with the sunporch. He was very upfront with me concerning costs and advice as he shared photos of the problems.Then he left and returned with needed purchased materials. He sealed areas causing the roof to leak, cleaned gutter, added a downspout gutter, and replaced screens. He worked efficiently, professionally, and did exceptionally beautiful work. He also cleaned the area before leaving. I am very pleased!!!

We had Chase power wash the outside of our house and he did a good job. We also had him clean the windows inside and out. Not such a good job. Inside and out my windows were streaky and had drips, etc running down them. When I asked about cleaning the screens I was told they werent included in the estimate. Who washes windows and doesnt include the screens? I ended up washing the screens and cleaning up a few of the windows myself. I was not happy about this. I would not hire them for window cleaning. They really dont have the experience.

I contacted this company over 3 weeks ago on a time sensitive project. It took them a week to get someone out to evaluate the situation. I was told it would take 3 to 5 days and I would get a bid on the project. I again reiterated that it was a time sensitive project. It has been 2 weeks since that evaluation and I still have not heard back from them with a bid. I had to hire someone else. What bothers me the most is that I paid them $60 to come out to the house. I had expectations that being a local business and having good reviews, I wouldn't get scammed. Looks like I was wrong!!! Would appreciate my $60 back.
