I needed 2 holes in my drywall patched ASAP . Timing was excellent, reliability was excellent, work great. Price....ehhhhhh. Pretty expensive even for the convenience. $625 for (2) 5x5 holes .... I was more than a little stunned at the price. I expected $200-300. The price made me go on YouTube to figure out how to do it myself next time. Even in my time crunch. But, cant beat the reliability, and fast service and very friendly. Mike repair man wonderful, Rhonda the lady I spoke with, she is amazing! I did schedule another job to be done. If you need it done right.... You call the people who do it right.

Responded to my request for someone to look at my window leak problem very quickly. Got an onsite quote and came the next week and repaired. Would definitely use them again if I needed to. Its nice to have a reputable company that is fine doing small projects as well as large.

Deserves less than one star. I scheduled a handyman to stop by for an estimate this Monday over the weekend. I was told that I could schedule Tuesday and that I would receive a call in the late morning when the handyman was on his way. I requested someone to help bring a 138 pound 42.8 W x 62.6" L x 7.6 H box up two flights of steps (26 in total), unbox the base, place it on top of my existing bed frame, and place my mattress on top of it. Literally no assembly required. I have a stair climbing dolly and I anticipated doing all of the above as a not so strong person before I had emergency surgery last Friday. I didnt receive a call until the handyman was at my door and I was quoted over $800 (including an $85 fee to stop by and provide an estimate that was never mentioned by the admin who scheduled me) to bring a box up the stairs and put a fully assembled base on the floor with my mattress on top of it. Obviously I declined. I would ask around your work, neighborhood, facebook etc before wasting time with this company. Additionally I specifically stated that I would walk with him to look at the house because I didnt want my kittens to get out as they are strictly inside, and at some point he went downstairs to work on the estimate. When he went downstairs he had left the basement door to the garage open and the garage door itself was open. One of my kittens had snuck downstairs and could have at any point in time just ran outside. I only realized she was not where she should have been because she was so scared she was crying.

Cannot recommend. They do not stand behind their work. I am willing to pay but I need somebody that will come back if there is an issue. This company will not. Wanted to charge me again to fix the same issue that lasted barely a year. No thanks.

Came home for lunch on April 2nd after the big storm blew through the valley noticed some roof shingles had been damaged. Called Mr Handyman they were already getting very busy I was lucky enough to get an appointment for the next day! Not only were the 2 guys on time they were about 2 hours early even better! Up on my 2nd story roof he goes replaces the damaged shingles and spotted another small issue that I was unaware of that will repaired when I have them back for another little project. Very pleased with their service!

They were quick in asking for an upfront fee, but super slow in getting me a quote. It took them 11 days after their visit for an estimate to get back to me, but only after I complained. Shortly thereafter all of a sudden I finally get an "estimate". I can only guess that their technician got upset and sent me an absurdly high quote. Either way, it goes without saying that I will not be using them anytime soon. Totally unprofessional and outrageously expensive for the "handyman" work they wanted or possibly didn't want to do. Will look elsewhere to be spending my hard earned money. Update! In response to the owners response after 2 months... So youre saying it took a while to asses what needed to be done, but that you couldnt communicate that? The reason why I absolutely do not believe you is because once I insisted for a quote, I got an outrageous estimate all of a sudden that same day, with ABSOLUTELY no breakdown of the supposed work! Call me crazy, but that in my books sounds like BS and at the very least is extremely unprofessional! But hey...its your business and your reputation. Certainly not the way I work.

Number one., the job required rehanging a downspout so one would assume that the workman would come supplied with the stock bracket(s) rather than be charged for a trip to Lowe's to purchase it, other than to charge extra. Number two, the worker put the spout on, aiming uphill and then insisted that was the way it had previously been hung. Not sure of how he had arrived at that conclusion, but why the argument, instead of promptly correcting the mistake? Number 3, he refused to attach the downspout at 2 other existing attachment points, stating he didn't want to further drill into the masonry. However, there were 2 existing anchors points not requiring drilling which were unused, while he drilled int the masonry to creat a new anchor point, so that was simply untrue.. I saw no evidence that any sealant was applied to the new opening, but allow that might have been done. Credit card fee was undisclosed, and a waste disposal fee was charged ( I guess for a few screws??? And the list goes on. Never will use this company again. $300 + dollars for a 5 minute job.

I was a work when the decided to reschedule me for today and sent someone out to my house even after I said Im not home over the phone conversation. I decided to leave to meet the handyman who ended up giving me an outlandish estimate of 3,330 $ to dry wall the ceiling of a single car garage are you serious ? The worst part was a had to pay them for coming to do the estimate which was 90$ !!! I would not recommend this business to anyone these people are ridiculous and unprofessional!!!

I had been having issues with the roof on my front porch for months. The company I hired kept fixing it, but they never actually fixed it. I asked them to come out again and after days of asking for an estimate, they quoted me a base price of $2600 plus $100 per sheet of wood if they found more damage. That seemed insane to me. So I called Mr. Handyman and asked if they could come look. They came the very next day and fixed the issue in a way that should have been done in the first place. The best part...only charged me around $560 to do the job right...the first time!

My initial experience in the office with the owners son was very upsetting. Im a US Marine Vietnam vet and happened to say so but was immediately treated rudely by him and told I could not mention Vietnam in his office. I asked why and he said his uncle died there. This would have been over 50 years ago and Im a combat vet with a 100% disability rating. I was so upset at the way I was treated. I do not believe this mans excuse for insulting me was truthful and honest. Then on the next day a technician can to survey my roof leak. After only about a one hour visit he said I owed $90. I was shocked yhat they charged me $90 just to look at a simple roof leak. The final straw came with the edtimstr for repair. High end was $1,700 to remove and replace 4 x 4 square of shingles. Low end was almost $800 to dimply coat the surface area with roofing sealant. I could single the entire slope of my tri-level roof for less than they would charge me to put down a small square of new shingles! I was amazed at the interior of their offices and the many new vehicles in the lot. But after I got their quote I understood his they were paying for everything. The technician also told me that he got commission for every job. I have never done this before but my whole experience was so negative that I had to give them the lowest possible rating. Perhaps uoyr results wont be like mine but Im not going back to them for anything else.

The staff Brandy and Patty were absolutely amazing and very helpful in getting me scheduled for an estimate of the roof repairs and repairs to my spare bedroom ceiling that had fell down to the floor from the leak in my roof!! Zac came out gave me an estimate and from there everything went smoothly and scheduled for my repairs! Zac completed the repairs in 2 days and absolutely percent did amazing work! We needed exterior handrails installed and some cement patching of back porch and installing of a shower rod in tile. Zach reviewed the jobs, provided and estimate and completed the work once railings were delivered. He was professional and cleaned up after the jobs. I'm guessing by the reviews, they do some good work, but I'm not comfortable hiring a company without doing some price checking in advance.

Had Handyman do a redo of the cabinets and ceiling in the laundry room. Mike, (worker) and I discussed the project first. Then, online, I picked out the cabinets, countertop, sink, faucet etc. Then he provided the estimate that I believe was reasonable and agreed to have it done. Mike arrived exactly at the time and date as provided in advance. Went to work and completed by the end of the day. He cleaned up everything before leaving. His work ethic and workmanship is everything excellent. I was so impressed that I immediately contracted with him/Handyman to do another project.

Mr. Handyman, and all of their people are professional from the start. They sent someone to give me an estimate 2 days after my initial call. He listened to what we wanted, did measurements, and had an estimate ready within about 30 minutes. After accepting the estimate, we were scheduled to begin work 3 weeks later. The guys showed up, on time, and got right to it. If it weren't for 2 days of rain, our deck would have been finished early.

Declined giving me an estimate. I have other homes in West Virginia that are in need of new windows, so its pretty sad that they are not coming out to give me an estimate. Its a shame that theyre walking away from what could have been a lot of business for their company. I did use them prior in another state, and all went well, but not this time. I do not recommend.
