I had a storm door that would not open and glass that was broken on my inside door. I reached out to Mr. Handyman and Bill came to my house. He fixed the door and measured the glass to replace it. Bill was very knowledgeable and professional. Mr. Handyman performs numerous home repairs: bedroom, bathroom, seasonal maintenance, plumbing and electrical, etc. I highly recommend Mr. Handyman.

Scheduled for 9 AM, tech arrived at 9:26 AM. Business admitted they were late in writing but is still harassing me for a $125 'No-Show' fee. Currently under investigation by the AL Attorney General. Beware of their predatory billing. Response to business: You admitted to the BBB you arrived at 9:26 AM. A 26-minute delay by the provider voids a no-show fee.

I contracted Mr. Handyman to replace my old wooden attic ladder with aluminum. Tom and Nathaniel were on time, professional, experienced, and well-prepared for the job. The technicians were much better than I expected. The replacement included more work than just switching out ladders, so I'm happy I didn't try to do it myself. The final cost was less than I figured, and the results were higher quality than I had hoped for. Bottom line: I feel much safer going up into my garage attic now. Highly recommended.

We have used Mr Handyman twice. Both occasions, we received prompt contact from representatives and jobs were completed by capable and courteous workers. When I have a need for repairs or improvements, I will be calling Mr. Handyman. Last week, Bill, was our service person and he did an excellent job in repairing some siding/fascia needs. He worked professionally and did a great job putting things back in order. There was company follow up after the service was completed to ensure that we were satisfied.

I was really hoping the craftsmen sent to install my attic lift were going to be successful. I gave them a general area I wanted the lift installed with the understanding that they would let me know if it needed to be moved or adjusted once they determined if it would properly fit there. The first day I arrived home and they had an opening cut but the control wire for a garage door was run across the opening meaning nothing would fit on the platform. This was corrected and I thought things were moving along but on the 2nd day of installation The platform wouldn't fit into the opening. I was informed this was due to an issue with the motors. Finally on the third day I was informed they had done all they could until the new motors arrived and I haven't seen them since. I got in the attic and determined they had mounted the brackets incorrectly preventing the platform from being able to fit in the opening. After remounting those I addressed the motors and was able to properly adjust them so the platform is level and stops at the proper level in the attic as well at the floor. While trying to adjust the motors I asked if either of the techs ever contacted the manufacturer I was told they had no record of the numbers I gave them calling. I have used their services in the past but after the way I was treated on this job I will never again. The pictures below show how they left things and the other shows how I have been able to correct it. I still have some work to do but they won't touch it.

The repair person that they sent to repair my soffit was very understanding of my situation and showed empathy, he inspected the damage to the soffit and explained there wasnt a thing to worry about That he would take care of the problem, which he did, it didnt take him very long at all and he explained everything that was doing and why he was doing it and at a very reasonable price,Im very satisfied with the work that Mr. Handyman did and I would highly recommend them.

We were happy with the technician and the service in general. We were only very confused that the estimated bill of $350-500 was actually over $700. No one not even the admin called to update us on the bill amount. So we were not prepared for a $700+ bill for a minor repair. This is hard for retired seniors, we must plan for unexpected cost!!

Daniel put in a new kitchen sink, faucet, garbage disposal for my kitchen and a ceiling fan in my guest bedroom. He was on time, very professional, and did a great job! I highly recommend him and this service.

I have a real handyman project in an older home that hasnt been kept up so a lot of one offs to get done before winter. I was able to coordinate getting first phase completed. Professional Prompt Trustworthy and amazing follow through. Stayed on task at hand while listening to homeowners ideas on future projects that need doing and was pleased to know Mr.Handyman will be able to continue working on the installation of doors, windows and a myriad of other tasks that need doing moving inside. Looking forward to handing over my punch list knowing its in great hands w/ over 30 years of experience. I will post completed projects as they are finished.
