Mr Handymans technician Mile helped us out by removing clogged up, decades old gutter guard, so that the gutters now catch the rain and drain it through the downspouts. Mike was efficient and careful. He even took away the old gutter guard. There is installation of a handrail in our future. We will call Mr Handyman again.

My technician John Morrison came on time. He came to pull down my old playground and dispose it for me. He was very efficient and got the work done in an hour. He cleaned up after himself. I was very satisfied with the work he did but I think the price was too much. $524 to pull down an old wooden playground and dispose it off is too much. I paid it because I was desperate to get rid of it before an inspection in my house,otherwise I would not have paid it. I give it 4 stars because of the price I was charged.

Mike built a new custom cellar door including cement work in two days. Rock solid, weather resistant, attractive as well. He was efficient , polite and he cleaned up along the way. Would recommend to anyone.

I have used Mr. Handyman of Frederick for many years when we've needed work/repairs around the house, and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about their work. My only problem is with the way their business model/prices have evolved. I just had them replace 1 ceiling fan and 1 security light and that clocked in at $700. Their work is always good, and their techs are very good, but I'll be retiring soon and as a strictly practical matter there is just no way I'll be able to continue paying those kinds of prices. I'm afraid that after all these years, economics is going to force me to look elsewhere, and I will miss them.

I love a company that stands by their work and doesnt give you an argument when something goes wrong. That company would be Mr. Handyman. I hired them last April to fix a terrible repair on my backyard fence from another handyman company that I will not mention here. The fix seemed to hold, but it failed again. I planned to give them a call back, but I was out of funds with all the property taxes and after Christmas bills. In the interim, I got a call from Mr. Handyman because they were running a 10% off promotion. When I described what had gone wrong, the woman on the phone did a little research and told me no problem, we were there last April and youre within the one year guarantee period. Michael came out and determined the problem which was caused by the original handyman service that I used and has fixed it. It means a lot when people stand behind their work rather than screaming and yelling at you about how you are costing them money, which is what happened with the previous company because I had to keep calling back for them to correct the lousy job their guy did. I highly recommend this company. I will be using them for projects in the future because I know I can trust them to make things right when they go wrong.

I called Mr. Handyman to correct poorly done work by a different outfit. I saw no reason to use the same people who had treated me with disrespect and provided substandard work. I saw the good reviews for this company. Im glad I did a little bit of research this time. I had a fence that was literally blowing in the wind and a deck facing that had come loose. Nery assessed what needed to be done and then he did it. He showed me every step of the way what he was doing and made me feel comfortable. He did a really good job. He stayed way past time that he had to in order to complete it, and although it was expensive, I know its not going to have to be done again. I am a happy customer and the next time I need a handyman, I know who to call.

John came to my home today for a consultation, and I ended up scheduling an appointment with him two weeks from now since I have a large project. He was extremely communicative and patient, taking the time to walk through my entire house and talk through the many projects Ive been putting off. I highly recommend Mr. Handyman and would rate them higher if I could. Their professionalism is shown from initial contact through job completion. Prior to having a kitchen range hood installed that exhausts to the outside, I wanted to check for exhaust duct adequacy and safety. Mike from Mr. Handyman, arrived on time, and thoroughly investigated the existing exhaust, which was not usable. He is knowledgeable and clearly explained what was needed. He and Ken arrived on time for the next appointment and installed a new exhaust system and the range hood. Mike also installed tiles above my stove and painted ceilings in two rooms. The work was done carefully and cleaned up thoroughly. Mike and Ken are most polite, pleasant, and professional.

Ridiculously overpriced. Over $1200 quote to re-caulk two shower stalls and a tub?! After some discussion I ended up only doing the two stalls and just the shower pans. Still ended up being over $600 for barely 1 hour of work. The work done was satisfactory but grossly overpriced.

I had a few projects to get done and decided to use the services of Mr. Handyman. They were able to reschedule me to an earlier appointment date, which was really convenient for me. John arrived within the scheduled time and was really professional. He looked at all my requests and gave me a quote and advised of the work that could be completed that day. John was very patient and detail oriented, he explained/identified the issues he encountered and worked around them. He ensured he cleaned up the area he worked in once he completed his task. I was extremely happy with John Morrison and the work he completed for me.

Mr Handyman is rare in the industry, they excel at the fundamentals of business operations. When I call the phone number, they answer the phone(rare) with a very kind person(not a menu of 50 choices or Robocop), and clearly explain their process. They sent a picture of the technician and his contact information on a text message, and the technician, Michael S, was on time with a professional, positive attitude. The work was completed yesterday so I am not sure of the long-term performance, but based on the experience thus far I have no reason to be concerned a problem exists, or if a problem occurs it would not be resolved. Highly recommend.
