I contacted several "specialists" about getting a quote for the staining and waterproofing of my rear deck. I received several quotes after I submitted photos and measurements of my rear deck. I was surprised to see that all of the Maryland specialists were licensed, while none of the Delaware specialists were licensed. I decided on one specialist until he expressed that he would NOT be willing to stain and waterproof the gaps of the boards, and he would not stain and waterproof the underside of the deck. This left only three (3) other specialists who were licensed and willing to stain and waterproof the entire deck. Angel of Moyas Painting & Remodeling then confirmed that his quote included the Behr Solid Color Waterproofing Stain & Sealer in the color that I requested (Nature's Gift - a subtle green). Two (2) days later I contacted Angel and told him that I would like him to stain and waterproof my deck. We scheduled Day 1 of a two day process for Monday, October 20th, 2025. On October 20th, Angel arrived and by mid-afternoon, Angel prepared the entire deck for the staining and waterproofing which would be completed on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025. On October 21st, Angel and a helper arrived with everything that was necessary to complete the job. They were very meticulous in their work. They even taped off the rods to make certain that the rods were not stained in the process. I was very happy to see Angel applying stain to the gaps and to the entire underside on my deck. The completed work was much better than I expected. I'm not very optimistic these days, but I'm very happy with his work and his timeliness. I'll be keeping his number for any future work that I may need completed at my home.

We are absolutely thrilled with the work Moya Painting Company did on the exterior of our home! This was a complex and difficult job, with a stone foundation, wood siding, vinyl sliding doors, and aluminum window frames and eaves all needing to be prepped and painted. The team tackled the challenge with incredible skill and professionalism, completing the entire project in less than a week. From start to finish, the crew was professional, courteous, and respectful of our property. They were meticulous in their work and cleaned up daily, leaving the site tidy at the end of each day. Communication throughout the project was first-class, and they kept us informed every step of the way. The total cost of the project was very competitive but our final decision to go with Moya was Angels prior military service and how open and receptive he was to our wants and needs. Were so glad we did - the final result is stunning. The house looks brand new, and the quality of the work is exceptional. We went to Home Depot in Aberdeen and asked for recommendations for a drywall repair contractor. They printed out a list of about 8 contractors. Before we could get into our car we had a call from the owner, Angel. We told him what we needed done and he said he would be over our house at 2:00 the next day. Well at exactly 2:00 the door bell rang. He looked at the work and gave us a very fair estimate. He finished the job in 2 days and actually did some extra work that we asked him to do. His work was excellent and his cleanup was spotless. I will use Angel in the future and highly recommend him as a contractor!!!!!
