I'm always reluctant to write a poor review. And Marcelo did come over right away, which was good. However, I paid $50 for him to tell me I needed a new toilet. Another handyman came later and easily fixed the toilet (replaced rubber ring) in 5 minutes at very little cost. I feel ripped off with Marcelo but I suppose you have to pay someone even for bad advice.

Marcelo and his team did a fantastic job with all the repairs my apartment needed! They went above and beyond, coming back multiple days in a row to make sure the work was done well. He went out of his way to get the right supplies and paint for the holes in the walls and they look as good as new. He discovered and fixed multiple issues in the bathroom and made it better than before. Overall, he was extremely friendly and helpful and I appreciate the company! I definitely recommend going to him for help!

I can't speak to the quality of work. I wouldn't recommend hiring him based on the experience I had. I called on Thursday and explained what I needed. He said he could come that afternoon to take a look and give me a quote. He told me to text him my name and address. I did and got no response so I texted him again after several hours. He said he got my message but couldn't come until Friday. He asked what time would work. I said anytime after 10:00 am. He said he'd be able to come between 4 and 5 pm. I said Okay. 4 comes and goes and noone arrives. I happened to check my phone at 4:40 and saw he had called and left a message at about 4:30 saying he was outside but couldn't wait because he was on a tight schedule. I texted immediately and said maybe he had the wrong house because we had been home waiting and no one knocked. He said he was already at another job and couldn't come back. I asked if he could come Monday. He said maybe at which point I said forget it. What kind of business person makes an appointment and doesn't knock on the door???? I had my phone volume turned down so didn't hear the phone ring. If this is any indication of the quality work he does, I would advise people to beware. All the good reviews must have come from friends and relatives.

We had several projects needing attention and were lucky enough to find Marcelo. He tackled a particularly difficult project making our bike and tool shed waterproof and got the job done. His knowledge of tools, materials, and 3 dimension problem solving techniques is quite extensive. He and his assistant have a strong work ethic and are genuinely pleasant to work with. So glad we found him, because we have much more work needing his skills. Highly recommend.

We had a rotten fence post and he came within a couple of days, bought the redwood that we needed, shaped a new post, put it into concrete and made it look exactly like the one that had rotted out. Very easy to work with, and his son is great too. He fixed the door and another problem that we had. Highly recommend!

He came the next day, assessed the jobs, gave me a quote, and set up a time to start the work. He came back when he said he was going to and completed all of the jobs better than I expected. Recently, my water heater was leaking so badly I had to shut off the water main. I unsuccessfully tried to find a plumber for days. Then, a friend gave me Marcelo's name. I called, and he responded immediately. The old water heater was removed, and he rebuilt the badly damaged floor and quickly got the new water heater installed and working. I was impressed with his skill and attention to details. After that he did some electrical work. Next, I'm going to have him trim two large trees, rebuild a storm damaged fence, and tackle other home repairs. Marcelo is very knowledgeable and skilled, and has a good work ethic and is kind, reliable and fair.
