Having just relocated from NC to Quincy, IL, my husband and I were unfamiliar with local pros. We wanted to get the first floor painted before hanging pictures and placing all of the furniture. I relied on online reviews to pick someone, and saw that Leland was highly rated. He came out almost immediately, and when he did the walk-through, he was very specific about what he would do, which included fixing gaps in the crown, evening out irregularities in the walls, etc. I then received a detailed quote via some type of quoting software. The unfortunate news was that he did not have immediate availability. When he saw my face drop, he agreed to rearrange things and fit us in while other jobs were going on. This took quite a bit of effort on his part, as he wanted to make sure all jobs stayed on track and no one felt slighted. I would say he is extremely customer focused. He checked in each day, sometimes more than once, to review what he had done, what he was going to do, and the arrival time for the next day. He and Lee, another painter, were pleasant, professional and skilled painters. They were also very nice people to work with. Somehow, with just painting the first floor and main staircase, the whole house looks so clean and fresh. We're extremely pleased with the results.

Once Leland had availability, he sent someone right out to do a small drywall repair. They did exactly what they said they would, and were very efficient and easy to work with. Unlike some other local businesses in this industry, like Area Home Services, Leland does not take a deposit and then fail to give a tentative start date! They are straight shooters! They did the work as they said they would, when they said they would, and didnt take my money until they showed up to work! 10/10 would use again.
