Started to work with this company. Pricing and response time was great (why two stars). I brought up that we wanted permits and that's when everything unfortunately fell apart. Pulled away, stopped responding. Disappointed.

We will definitely be using for any future drywall work. Tim always kept us up to date on when they would be coming and what was being done. It wasn't an easy drywall job and they got it done within a few days. Highly recommend!

We recently had Tim's Lake Country Drywall perform services on a kitchen remodel project at our home. We had multiple areas to be patched as a wall and soffits were removed as well as openings made for electrical routing. We also wanted the texture in one room and a bathroom to be mudded over and finally an orange peel texture applied. Tim's initial consultation went well and we explained some concerns relating to a wall that was to be tiled. We wanted to make sure the areas to be tiled were straight. Tim assured us it would look good. "you'll never know it was patched", Is I believe what we were told. Based on this we were confident the work would look good. Overall I will say things went as planned with a few small things that I would normally not care about except the area we specifically stated that would be tiled did not turn out. The joint between the wall and ceiling were very wavy. We followed up with Tim a few times and I believe he personally saw the area when doing the texture (the final step) but nothing was said or done. When I contacted him his response was that we should have taken down all of the drywall on the ceiling. This is fine and we would have even at the additional expense. This was a $45k project overall and another $1000 wouldn't have been a huge issue. Though it was never mentioned to us until then. We even offered to have it repaired by Tim at our expense but he didn't respond with an estimated repair cost. The tile contractor needed to complete his work so he tiled up to the affected area and we are not happy with the way it looks. We now have to remove the tile in that area so a different drywall contractor can come in and try and repair the poor quality of work that we were left with. Overall I would have given this company 4 or 5 stars had the area of concern been addressed and properly taken care of even after the fact. Tim seems like a nice guy and his crew was pretty respectful. Just wish this issue was handled differently and we didn't have to bring someone else in to re-do what should have been done correctly in the first place. In repairing the new drywaller wants to remove the top rows of tile and remove and replace a section of drywall. Then the texture will need to be redone and tile as well. This whole mess could have easily been prevented. This company may be good at new installs but based on the way this was handled I wouldn't hire them again.
