Best in the business for anything related to drywall projects in the home - whether those projects are small or large. They are very organized and take care of the work efficiently while keeping the place tidy throughout (which is hard to do for drywall work). I really appreciated the keen attention to detail in each phase of the project and recommending materials and methods that produce the best result. I also really appreciate the teams attention to keeping the worksite and entrance to and from the basement clean with all the debris that comes with the process contained and in order. It was very clear to me they care about their reputation from the estimate to the completion of the work. It was really refreshing to work with a company that understands and cares that their name and workmanship is tied to your home anytime someone comes over. If you are looking for a drywall company stop your search, youve found the best guy in the Quad Cities. Allen with Kodiak delivers the highest quality finished product at the right price. Working with Allen was easy. On the initial quote walk through he provided framing feedback that would assist in making the drywall process smooth, even if he didnt land the job. Prior to start day, he came back for an additional walk-though marking everything for the guys that would do the hanging so there were no questions and they could get to work right away. Allen is the best communicator of anyone that I contracted work out for on my basement. He let me know when his guys would show up each day (and that is precisely when they showed up). If I alerted him of any issues he would send me a text, with pictures, as soon as things were addressed. Then he would let me know each day when they were finished, and when they would return the following day. Allens crew kept the place as clean as possible during the process, and when all was done, they worked hard to return it to the same condition they started with. Overall the final product was outstanding! Corners were square, walls were smooth, seems were no-where to be seen. My project was not a simple one either as Kodiak completed roughly 1,600 sq. ft. with some tricky corners, bends, and soffits. Even the painter commented on what a quality job was done by the dry wallers. My hats off to Allen and his whole crew. Thanks guys for all the hard work the whole family can now enjoy that space!

We worked with Allen and some of the Kodiac crew on a major remodel of our master bathroom. All of the bathroom ceiling and numerous wall sections were taken out and new drywall installed and primed. We also had drywall repairs done in the walk in closet and nail pops in a hallway. They did an excellent job setting up, doing the work and cleaning up. Allen went above and beyond adjusting the schedules to meet our needs. All of the employees we interacted with were very knowledgeable, considerate and customer oriented. We had a year of bad contractor experiences and the drywall job we needed done was because of a poor shower install in our master bath from another contractor that flooded the half bath below. I contacted Kodiak to get an estimate for a ceiling replacement. I explained specifically what I needed in the initial contact form with the address. Upon receiving a call back I went through what I needed done again and inquired on the companies current time frame knowing how busy all contractors are currently. He explained his time frame was 4-6 weeks. I paused to write the information down. He asked for the address which was in my original contact form. He seemed dismayed that the work would be on a second floor and if there was entry to the second floor. Another strange question. I asked when he could do an estimate, or could he at least give me an estimate based on square footage. He said it would most likely be more than I was willing to spend. He had no idea what I was willing to spend and talk to me as if I had no idea what the average rate was for a job of this nature. Since we had not discussed price at this point and he had not estimated the job it was a strange comment and a wildly unprofessional statement. He then proceeded to tell me that if I expected it done tomorrow and for $500 he didnt want to waste my time or his. Im not sure who he thought he was talking to since tomorrow and $500 was not a part of our short conversation. I assume he thought that since I am a women I was ignorant to the cost of construction and building materials. I am not having a father who was a builder. Maybe he looked up the property and thought it was my primary property and assumed I was too poor to afford the work. I have never had a contractor in 35 years act so unprofessional. We own 5 properties and have hired many contractors over that last 35 years. Maybe the owner of this company need for focus less on his personal assumptions and more on being a professional businessman.

We have now used Kodiak drywall for two separate projects within our house. Both pertained to water damage, where drywall needed to be removed, the ceiling and insulation checked for mold, (and in both cases the insulation replaced), new drywall installed, and texturizing to match what we already had. Communication was a breeze, Allen took care of everything from start to finish and was thorough in his explanations. We communicated primarily via text, which was preferable for me. The teams that we had in our home did an excellent job, they made sure to cover our floors and protect our wood floors when they were working upstairs. They did a great job at isolating all of the drywall dust to one room, and they cleaned up after themselves extremely well. We couldn't even tell that they had been in our home aside from the improvements in our ceilings. Additionally, the texturizing that they did blends seamlessly into what we already have. We also liked that we had the ability to pay with venmo. We would highly recommend them to anybody who needs drywall work done!!!!
