I just had a great experience with Daniel and Impact Drywall! They did the drywall for a bathroom remodel I'm in the middle of. Smooth process from start to finish, and they did an awesome job. Admittedly I was a little hesitant going with them just because I didn't notice a ton of reviews for them vs other companies that I had bid my project. But I'm happy to report that everything turned better than I could have hoped, and I'm very happy to have gone with them. I'll be using them for all future drywall projects I have, and would recommend them to anyone in the Twin Cities.

Mixed experience. Price was great, some parts of the project looked really good at the end, team was really kind and great to work with. However, framing was done in a very unsafe and inaccurate way. Parts of the project were left unfinished and we had to ask the team to come back and finish them - one part was still left unfinished after being called back. We ended up having to hire another company to come and undo/ fix the work that this group had done.

Great people to work with, and the crew was nice and funny. We had a blast. I saved the company's number on my phone to refer others to them. I was worried about this company because of the one bad review. After looking at all the pictures they posted, I thought maybe they were just way too picky, to begin with. I didn't have my crew clean up because I was painting the walls myself. So I can't say anything about cleaning up. But they did stack all the boxes of mud and put the trash in my bucket that I had left out for them.

Impact finished off the drywall in my basement. If you need drywall, mudding/taping, repairs or newly installed, use them. I am very happy with the speed and quality of all the work. I can't give a higher recommendation. Great quote process and communication throughout; better quality.

We are remodeling the kitchen and had the electrical rerouted. We hired Impact Drywall Solutions to come in and repair the drywall in the ceiling / walls and paint the kitchen. We also hired them to paint the hallway leading to the basement, the basement and the hallway leading into the upstairs. The experience overall was very poor. I thought it was standard for professional painters to remove nails, electrical cover plates, sand down any imperfections and prep the walls prior to painting. It was not clear to us that this would NOT be included as part of their service. I have included pictures of all the sloppy work done and it is also listed below: They painted over nails and failed to remove electrical plates in some areas Failed to cover our rug in the hallway and on the stairs and we found several dripped paint dust and marks all over We asked them to protect and be careful with our hardwood floors and they put down paper material that they easily poked holes into with their tools and we found several new scratches / paint drippings / drywall dust, etc. In the kitchen, the old green paint is still coming through the walls We found several spots where they had painted onto the white trim Dripped paint onto the floor in the hallway In the kitchen they spray painted or painted all of the electrical wires and gas wires We found tape left over on our stairwell that we had to remove and on a ceiling light They almost pointed the electrical box shut, but we were able to pry it open With all that said, the paint job itself was very sloppy (rough edges on the ceiling, etc.) and the drywall patch on the ceiling was sloppy as well. On the ceiling you can still see little holes and rough spots all over. Lastly, after they were all done, they left a mess in the kitchen and our cabinets were coming in the next day. They said the cleaning crew was coming in the next day, but didnt give us a time or ensure us that they would be done before the cabinets came. We were left to clean up the disaster that was left behind (dry wall chunks, dust everywhere). We spent 2 hours clearing the kitchen. The cleaning crew came in as the cabinets were coming in, so they wouldnt have been done anyway. To top it all off, the cleaning crew used strong smelling solutions that stunk up the whole house. We did call them to give them this feedback and they were receptive to it, but we were not interested in having them back once our new white cabinets were installed. We didnt want them to mess those up as well. Given all that, I would give their service 2 stars out of 5. I would not recommend.

I had them install sheetrock, mud, tape and prime both of my bathroom remodels. The work was absolutely flawless. They work very fast, they are neat and clean. I would highly recommend this company and will be using them in the future.
