Paul and his crew did an excellent job fixing the ceiling of our house after it came down last winter. All those apprehensions about hiring contractors were set aside when House Repair Experts took over. The quote wasn't the cheapest, but the cheapest sounded fishy. There were no surprises from beginning to end. Crews showed up on time, were pleasant to have around, Paul in particular, and the job was completed in a couple days. Fast, efficient, professional. If I have any further work to be done, Paul's the first person I'll call and the first person I'd recommend to get the job done.

This company is NOT worth getting in touch with. Received free estimate and it took OVER a week to get a response and that is due to ME reaching out to THEM for the estimate. They then proceeded to tell me I would need a permit and an engineer in order to repair three wooden posts holding up a porch. I've contacted many companies since then that have come out to my house and ALL disagreed. Replacing posts does not require an engineer in my situation and I have a structural engineer in my family so the response was laugh worthy. Very unprofessional and recommend completely passing them up. Edit** I don't appreciate your response as we DID NOT have anyone come to our house until AFTER you. I don't appreciate your lies to try to salvage this review. I would have appreciated your response more if you did not try to lie to make your business sound better especially since it's not my fault that you are NOT professional and you are the ONLY company that made recommendations for an engineer when one is not needed because you didn't think the job would be worth your time. On TOP OF THAT you did not give any recommendations in perspn and told my father you would give an estimate which again I had to reach out to YOU for and THEN you told us your recommendations. Please maintain professionalism when responding to a review and not add a blatant lie that can be backed up with proof that you were the first company we contacted and the ONLY one with an engineer recommendation. If you don't like the review change the way you run your business. As for a permit, you're supposed to be licensed so that wouldn't be an issue. Your lie just made me want to blast you publicly on Facebook and any other social media site to NOT use your services. If anyone needs proof that this company was the only one I contacted with these recommendations please reach out. Otherwise I can give you names of the other estimates we received from other contractors that ALL agreed House Repair recommendations were not correct and unnecessary.
