I highly recommend Tim Hopkins and Hopkins Painting and Restoration for your painting, home improvement, home restoration needs. I bought a 3bd,2.5ba row home that was previously a rental unit and that condition really showed. I hired Tim to paint the place top to bottom and fix all the drywall. Tim delivered incredible results. The place truly transformed into my home, the place I wanted it to be. Tim painted every ceiling, wall, trim, closet and door in the place. Refreshed and revitalized. When I had siding contractors leave me with a raw window sill, open wall, Tim was up to the task of replacing and repairing the trim around a large window frame and did an incredible job. High quality carpentry work as well. Tim himself is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and you will not find somebody with a stronger work ethic or attention to detail. Tim does every job right. If you are considering hiring Tim, do yourself the favor and do it. You will have made the right choice.

I met Tim seeing him painting a house in my neighborhood, and when it was time to paint our house he was my first call. Working with Hopkins Painting was one of the best decisions we made. The level of detail was as if he was working on his own property. Integrity is so important when youre working with someone in your home. He has it. If you want the job done right look no further. Tim was a dream of a contractor. We hired him to remove a popcorn ceiling, repaint our entire downstairs and sand and finish the floors in a very short timeline. He did an excellent job and proactively communicated the whole way. I couldn't recommend him enough.

We unfortunately had to have waterproofing done on a section of our finished basement. It was about 17 feet worth of area and 4 feet high and around our W/D, water heater and HVAC, not ideal! I found Tim online and he came out in person and provided a very fair estimate which involved adding new framing where it was cut away as well as drywall and painting. He was able to complete the job in only 2 days and you cant even tell our basement was previously ripped apart. I would highly recommend Tim for your needs!

We hired Tim to refinish and treat our outdoor teak furniture. He took his time and meticulously sanded 14 pieces of furniture and treated them with 2 coats of finish. The furniture looks as good as new! Highly recommend Tim for all your painting needs.

I had to FIRE Tim and tell him I would do the rest myself! That's how BAD he was!! WORST drywall installation I've ever seen. Plus he was way over priced for the quality of his work! I had four rooms to drywall. The first day he showed up with only 10 sheets of drywall which wouldnt even finish one room. Very poor quality and slow worker. The pictures say it all!! Lots of small scrap pieces on one wall. His cuts for the receptacle holes were way off. Double seam in the middle of the walls. Tape had all wrinkles in it from too much compound. Theres NO WAY his past good reviews are true!

Worst experience Ive ever had with a contractor! Ive worked with dozens of contractors and never had an experience quite this bad. Getting him to complete work was like pulling teeth. In short Tim stopped showing up or did very little work and delayed my project by over two months (mostly no work being done during the delay) I lost thousands in potential rent and had to hire someone else who did everything in less than two weeks! Im not sure where these good reviews come from! The quality of work was also questionable many things needed to be fixed by other contractors (doors, windows, hinges, etc.) dont get lured in by the price pay more and use someone else!
