New 5/20/26. Needed some serious fence stablization work plus patio door kickplate. Mike thoroughly assessed the situation and provided options at a fair price. Kayla got us moved up in the schedule. The install team of Bill, Rob, and Nate did impeccable work. 100 stars! On time, extremely courteous, and their work exceeded all of our expectations! Our fence is now in plumb and able to withstand anything for the next 50 years and we no longer have to deal with a wooden kickplate that needs maintenance. We are grateful for the outstanding service they provided. Our third time with Honey Dudes Elyria/North Ridgeville and customers for life. Highly Recommend them! 11/20/25. Had work done to install two kitchen cabinets. Kyle M was amazing and made sure everything was perfect. He explained the process and was super easy to work with. All for a fair price! I'm giving 2 stars because our bathroom looks amazing. I was really hoping to give a higher rating but there were several communication issues that have yet to be resolved after weeks of requests and unfulfilled promises to call back. We had our bathroom fixed due to an insurance claim and have needed an itemized invoice for our claims adjuster. Casey, who answers the phone has been super sweet and I know it's not her fault we are not getting our request fulfilled. We are out close to $2k that we are waiting to be reimbursed from our insurance company and now I am being told that we are unable to get an itemized invoice. It was notified to them that this was through insurance and that it was going to be necessary to get this to have our claim supplemented.

Id probably stay far away from doing business with this company. They seem like nice guys, and they were on time to the appointment. But i had to pay $60 for a quote just to be overpriced job. $1400 to clean out any lint and dust from my washer and dryer area. I bought a kit and did it myself for $25 and it took me an hour. Had i known it was that easy i never wouldve scheduled an estimate. Although i called a few days later to discuss my experience and they said i was never found in their system for an estimate, so im just a bit confused. Doesnt seem like they have their ducks in a row.

The Honey Dudes can and did do it all... electrical, furniture assembly, drywall patching, installing curtain rods, etc. They were professional, friendly, neat about their work and respectful of our property. I'll be calling them with a new list soon. Shout out to Sam who did the best drywall work I've seen. You wouldn't even know there were holes. He also stayed late to tweak another task to perfection. They are truly about getting the job done right.

Had them come out to quote multiple things. Went through with one of them. Had a bad experience with both. First, was for a window installation in which we already had the double window with mullian, we just needed it installed. They quoted around $4,000 even though we HAD the windows already! Thats the same quote we got from Universal Windows Direct for 5 window replacements with windows included! The second was for repainting a small bedroom ceiling that had brown leak stains on it from before we replaced our roof. They came out and told us they would be re-drywalling then repainting the ceiling for around $1200. We agreed to that. First of all, they showed up 2 hours past when they said they would. Second of all, they ended doing NO drywalling and just repainting over the stains. We then noticed that they didnt include the drywalling that was originally talked about on the invoice. We feel massively played. We paid $1200 for a simple repaint of a ceiling that could easily be done for $50 on our own. To top this all off, the stains were still showing through the paint coats. We called, they came out again (once again, an hour late) and then slapped on some more coats. The stains are mostly gone, but the job was sloppy around edges and they got ceiling paint on our walls. I live in North Ridgeville and will actively tell all of the homeowners in the area that I know, NOT TO USE THEM!!! Seriously extremely disappointed and felt scammed. Do better!

I used Honey Dudes Handymen based off their Google reviews and I was not disappointed. I had a pipe burst in November through my upstairs toilet that resulted in water being drained through my ceiling in the kitchen. The company came out to give me an estimate on drywall repair after plumbing was taken care of and gave me a very comparable price to other repair companies. They were very professional during the estimation and during service. Complete work was done in 2 days of doing the job and it included rehanging the kitchen cupboard, drywall repair of the kitchen ceiling, kitchen wall, bathroom wall, primer to repaint (I didnt have them repaint for me because it was small enough I could complete myself though it was offered). Shoutout to my repair man that went above and beyond during his repairs. It had snowed heavily during the morning of service and due to that, took longer than usual to have the plaster and primer dry on the walls due to the cold. He shoveled my driveway during the time he waited, just because, so incredible. Ill absolutely be a repeat customer for different projects around the house.

Gentleman who came out was nice and professional, but then stated something alluding to how pricy they were. He asked me what my price range was...and I figured it would be $1,000 or a little more to tape and mud a 13 x 16 ft. room and one other very small area. He said it may be a "little more" than that. I was quoted $5,600...for maybe 2 days of work and like $300 maybe in materials. I'm sure they do good work, but if you can DIY, the cost v time savings is not with this company.

We had a new door installed between garage and basement, attic stairs installed, and several drywall repairs. Sam did a great job with the drywall patches and matching the existing pattern. The door and attic stair install turned out very nice w matching stained moulding. The only minor glitch was the paint for the kitchen drywall repair is gloss, but rest of ceiling is flat.

Got stood up twice for a meeting to try and discuss a quote. Had someone named David come out on a Friday and discuss a project, he took down some info and said would work up a quote and send to me. He said could try and get it to me that night or next day, as we were going to be out of town I said no rush, could wait until early next week. We scheduled a meeting time the end of next week to discuss the quote and project details as options were involved. I got a little worried as I heard nothing again from the person or company. Then 30 minutes before the follow-up meeting missed a call and got a message saying they were short staffed that day so unfortunately couldn't come out. About a week later he reached out again to try and reschedule, I figured why not so we made another time. That day came and went with no meeting or word from him. A few days later got a call saying he got sick the day before our rescheduled meeting so he missed it, asked to reschedule again and I declined. Sad because had high hopes given all the good reviews and wanted to find a good handyman for all the random work needed at my house, guess have to keep looking.

They did an excellent job! My project was to install a narrow door to access some extra storage space that had been closed off by the builder. I initially contacted another handyman service I heard advertised on the radio. While their verbal quote was lower, I never received anything in writing, and there was no way to verify if they were licensed or insured. It just didnt feel reliable. My wife had seen a billboard for Honey Dudes Handyman and suggested I give them a try. I'm glad I did. I met with their project engineer, who arrived looking professional in a Honey Dudes polo and provided a business card. I received a detailed quote by email the very same day. While the price was a bit higher, its true what they say: you get what you pay for. The two-person crewLogan and Miawere outstanding. They were courteous, used no inappropriate language, wore uniforms, and communicated clearly throughout the job. Logan even reviewed the completed work with me and made some last-minute adjustments before wrapping up. Overall, Im 100% satisfied. Highly recommend!

Update: still no promised callback from owner. I called on June 2, 2025, about replacing a dryer duct vent cover & install a bird cage. I was told by the gentleman on the phone that he needed to check if this was within their scope of work...one week later, I called them back because I never received their promised call-back...now they are backlogged by 2 weeks for estimates that cost $59...very disappointing service...I saw them in my neighborhood & spoke to one of their technicians...was hoping to give them my business, which included other interior house repairs...but I will have to look elsewhere due to lack of follow-through and now a backlog...happy to speak with management if theyd like to reach out... Update...no call-back from owner as he had promised yesterday...

Quality work! Wow are we pleased! Various team members with specific skills knocked out our honey-do list. The work is perfect. It looks as if nothing was fixed, but rather it is the way it always has been. Workers arrived on time, were respectful of our property, and listened well to our ideas and preferences. They did drywall repair, metal work to fortify a stairway, fixed up steps, did heavy lifting in landscaping, and replaced/finished wood that matches perfectly the rest of the piece. We are impressed! As we start a new honey-do-list, these guys will be the ones we will call.
