SHR is the most unprofessional company I have had the displeasure to deal with. The experience began wonderfully. Someone came to look at my project within a few days, as promised, and we were excited to be getting a quote. After about 1 1/2 weeks, the person who estimated the job left a voicemail stating that he could probably do the project if I didn't like the quoted price. However, I had never been given a quote and decided to have someone else perform the work. I just assumed the company was too busy and had asked him to perform the work on his own time/dollar. I contacted the tradesman via the phone number he had left on my voicemail nearly two months later for an unrelated project. He was unable to accommodate my tight schedule, so I contacted SHR the following day to arrange for someone who might be available. The conversation was pleasant, however, I received the following text message in response to my scheduling request: "Shawna. This is the owner of HRS. I understand you are going around my back to get Tim yesterday to do do work on the side. Second, Tim said you screwed him around on a brookside electric quote a few weeks ago. NEVER NEVER screw a local business!!!! I will send him up there by 1:00 for $250 labor. DO NOT TEXT OR CONTACT MY HELP AROUND OUR BACK AGAIN EVER" I assume the "brookside electric quote" was the the quote for my work, that was never received, as I live nearby. I politely asked that he get the story straight before accusing me. However, he continued to do so even after I explained the facts. After being accused several other times, asked why I hadn't called to ask for the missing quote, and to "Have a great life" I responded that I would be writing an online review of the company. I was promptly THREATENED that s/he would, "Will file the appropriate responses and rate your "company" based out of your house :-(" I have never dealt with such a poorly managed company in my life! I did not ask for the helper to directly solicit me for work nor did I ask to be bullied by the owner in threatening the reputation of my 5-star family-owned company. I have never had someone respond to me so unprofessionally and threatening in my adult life. I encourage anyone having home repairs done, to thoroughly research the contractors. There ARE several high quality repair services in the Springboro area.

I was asked to change my review if the problems could be fixed. After over a year, three contractors and no resolve, I'm done. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. It's clear the owner doesn't care. I just wish I could post photos. I would not EVER recommend HRS to anyone. Period.
