We had ceiling work done to cover old popcorn with knockdown ceilings and had several rooms painted. The quality of the work was very good, the crews were professional and friendly, dust mitigation and cleanup was done well. They were not the least expensive but the value was good and we got what we expected. The true test is that I would use Home Drywall & Painting again.

Home Drywall & Painting repaired three cracks in the drywall of my ceiling and did a fantastic job! Not only did they do a great job of blending the texturing into the existing texture so the repairs were entirely invisible, but they were extremely conscientious in preparing by hanging drop clothes around all repair areas and covering furniture to ensure the rest of the home was protected. The work was meticulous to match the existing texture and paint and then they left our home exactly like it was when they entered. We cannot even tell where the repairs were made! I would absolutely recommend Home Drywall & Painting for any drywall needs.

It was a great experience working with Home Drywall and Painting. Project Manager Gerid came to our house to give us a free estimate and he explained exactly how they would do the Sheetrock repairs and we received the bid later that day. We accepted the bid and were put on the schedule the following week. The installers showed up on time and did a great professional job and completed the work in 1-1/2 days. They also did a great job using plastic sheeting to keep all the dust and debris contained in the work area and they cleaned and vacuumed the whole area when the job was completed. We would definitely use them again!

Estimate on Tuesday, work complete before 3pm Thursday. Drywalling is hard and bad drywalling sticks out like a sore thumb. These guys did a great job of matching texture and patching some oddly shaped gaps. Pricing was very reasonable. Will be returning for any future drywall needs

I hired Home Drywall and Painting to finish my three-car garage starting from bare studs, and they did an outstanding job. They handled insulation, full sheetrock installation, mudding and taping, and paintingall in-house. What normally would take multiple contractors was completed by one company, which made the process smooth and efficient. The walls came out extremely smooth, and the three coats of paint look even and professional throughout. You can tell they take pride in their work and pay attention to detail. The crew was reliable, showed up when they said they would, and communicated well throughout the project. I would absolutely recommend them for drywall and painting work.

We hired this company to paint our ceiling. They made an imperfection worse by using the wrong color, guessed again, and it still doesnt match. When asked to fix it properly, they refused. Disappointed with the results and lack of accountability.

After my first contractor jerked me around for 2 weeks w/ excuses, the team at Home Drywall & Painting became my Plan B. For my garage ceiling drywall repair project, Jessica took my call, sent me a proposal and had me booked next day. Adam had his team dispatched and they finished in about 3.5 hours. I recently hired Home Drywall and Painting for a drywall project with a very tight turnaround, and I couldnt be more pleased with the results. Gerid Deason responded quickly and took on the job knowing the timeline was short. The scope included replacing drywall and taping to both a Level 2 and Level 5 finish to prepare for painting and cabinet installation within a week. Not only was the work completed on timeit was finished several days ahead of schedule. The quality exceeded our expectations. Everything was done exactly as requested, the new surfaces were properly primed and ready for immediate painting, and all debris was removed. I highly recommend Home Drywall and Painting! Gerid and his team did a great job patching up some wall outlets that had nothing behind the wall covers. I also had a couple spots on the wall that bubbled out apparently the paint separated from the drywall. Arturo did an excellent job fixing everything and he made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. I had used Home Drywall and Painting in the past for popcorn ceiling removal and it turned out beautiful. I will be using Gerid and his team again in a couple weeks to do some sound dampening work on some bedroom walls. It will be so nice to get this done.

After many years in the planning stage, I finally was ready to get my basement finished. Since I like to support local businesses, I contacted Home Drywall and Painting located 3.5 miles away for an estimate and got on their schedule within a few days. Gerid, who has spent many years installing drywall and running a crew, came out for a site visit and shared a lot of good ideas for my space, including sound proofing with mineral wool. He inquired about my exterior wall insulation plans and said they offer spray foam insulation. Unfortunately, Id already contracted with another company. In retrospect, I wish Id met Gerid before that because I probably wouldve even gotten a better job done, especially as it comes to protecting surfaces from overspray, e.g., tub/shower. Im still trying to figure out how to get it off! Even though my basement still looked like a big storage unit during his initial site visit, Gerid saw past all that and expressed a genuine interest in my project. It was his personal touch right from the start that set Home Drywall and Painting apart. In addition, his quote for drywall and priming was reasonable and almost exactly the same as another companys who Id also been very impressed with. I truly agonized over drywall installer to go with. Mainly, I chose Home Drywall and Painting because they offered both drywall and painting. I had one less contractor to find. When it was time to get the project underway, Gerid was regularly in contact with me and stopped by for a couple site visits. He carefully inspected the entire space and made additional design recommendations, e.g., moving the A/C line set out of the way for aesthetics and moving the furnace air intake pipe to create a much narrower soffit. Although Im a fan of popcorn ceilings and have them throughout the rest of my home, he made the case for smooth ceilings especially in the bathroom and finally throughout the basement. He advised against only drywall on ledges and window sills because they would eventually get damaged from stuff set on them. He suggested using 1 oak boards with shoe moulding on the underside edge for a professional finish and offered to stain and varnish them to match the trim and doors. In preparation for hanging the drywall, he made sure the framing was optimal and requested framing adjustments as needed to ensure that all framing was plumb, level and in place, e.g., backer boards. He was on site for all phases of the project making sure all work was completed to his expectations. During the drywall phase a plumbing leak was detected that had been around for years. He advised me on how to clean out and reinsulate the cavity once the plumbing was repaired and then hung specialized drywall to match the existing. He also had his crew remove large chunks of spray foam overspray from existing drywall so it could be primed. He advised me to frequently change my furnace filter due to drywall dust and keep my dehumidifier going to reduce humidity from taping. When his team finished sanding he carefully inspected and advised his crew on anything that needed touching up. He explained that painting would be one of the very last steps so they can repair any damage to drywalled/primed surfaces during installation of cabinets, countertops, doors, trim, flooring and electrical. Im looking forward to having Gerid and his crew here for repairs and painting in a couple weeks!

Updated post: Im updating my review to reflect the customer service I received after my original post in late 2025. Within a few days of posting, I heard from Adam who reached out to address my concerns and expressed the desire to make everything right. Within a week or so, he had come out to our house to review my feedback in person and took pictures to document what needed fixing. There was no argument about what we considered unfinished or poorly executed and Adam wasted no time and scheduling a crew to come out. I am honestly shocked at the level of customer service we received, especially considering my initial review was a year after the work was completed. Everything on our list was addressed/fixed and looks great. I would recommend Home Drywall to anyone based on customer service alone. Original post: <3 stars> We worked with Adam in 2024 and had a good experience with him as a representative of Home Drywall, but we were not impressed with the subcontractors they work with who painted our kitchen. They were careless with our property, reinstalling exterior doors and storm doors incorrectly, which has led to problems after the fact. Additionally, they painted over our door hinges and tried to cut corners by not taking the paint all the way to our baseboards and ceiling, hoping to get away with it due to the new color being similar to the old. We noticed an area where this was the case before the project was closed out and brought it to Adams attention. He immediately took care of our concern by having the subs come back and repaint the wall. Great customer service from him. However, as the natural light in our space has changed throughout the year, weve noticed this same problem on several walls. I fully trust that if we had noticed this issue all at once, it would have been remedied by Home Drywall, but unfortunately it wasnt and now we have an almost complete paint job. I wish I could separate my impression of Home Drywall from their subs, but in this business the subs represent your company, which is unfortunate if they dont have the same level of care and attention to detail as youd expect from employees.

The ceiling repaint estimate was twice the amount of the bid I accepted from another company. After informing them of my decision, three different texts were sent attempting to reestablish negotiations. The first of these was suggesting the other contractor would do improper work.

Gerid provided us with a thorough estimate that gave us several options of service so we could choose one that fit our budget. The prices offered were fair and more affordable than we expected. We worked with Gerid as project manager and his team to sound-dampen our townhome's bedroom exterior walls from traffic noise etc... Dense-pack cellulose insulation was blown into the exterior wall cavities. An additional 4-inch framing wall was constructed with mineral wool insulation, Homasote 440 panels, and SilentFX drywall with green glue. The popcorn ceiling was overlayed with Homasote 440 and Silent FX drywall. The bedroom was then primed and painted. The sound-dampening worked. It minimized the noise and reverberation from the traffic and created a calmer serene atmosphere. Gerid's communication was excellent. He was quick to respond to any questions that came up. He and his team were timely, responsive, and professional. The job site was kept clean throughout the entire project. We highly recommend Home Drywall & Painting.

These guys are artists at what they do. We have a very unusual home. They drywalled our ceiling over popcorn and old fluorescent light boxes on one entire floor of our home. They put drywall on walls were there was once paneling. They repaired drywall on the stairs. Many areas were extremely tricky. Best of all the walls and ceiling are perfect! No bumps or bulges. They expertly protected all the areas where they were not working. Additionally, they were very fast and respectful. Communication was a breeze. The paint was expertly done. I have an adjoining wall in my master bedroom and my neighbor on the other side watches TV every night until 2 or 3 AM, sometimes until 5. It got so bad I moved into the guest bedroom. Home Drywall came in and added more insulation and an additional wall, I lost 4 inches , but the outcome is wonderful. Ive been back sleeping in my primary bedroom for a week now and its silent bliss. They call it sound dampening but for be its sound proof. The crew was friendly, polite and did a fantastic job.
